I see Ange thinks it's no big deal for our great team to be doing well in Europe as "it has been done before" and then did the usual repertoire of pointing out their success - before I was born and I am in my 50s. So. I take it winning the league is no big deal either . as it has been done before. most often by the mighty famous! Let's win this weekend and see them implode! Keep believing!

He’s doing what I’d expect our manager to do, he’s not going to wax lyrical about our cub’s European achievements, he has a fan base to appease.

2.) 30 Apr 2022 16:35:52
So sad and utterly lacking class but it's what we come to expect and plays to the gallery,

3.) 30 Apr 2022 18:06:27
He has to panda to the Celtic Da’s.
It also covers up his own European failings this season after getting knocked out all 3 European competitions in a single season!

4.) 30 Apr 2022 18:45:22
You took the words out of my mouth Kaiser. They seem to fall into thr trap of every manager before them. They so want to appease the gargoyles for fear of repercussions and broken windows. Big Matilda can't even mention our name, constantly referring to us as they or them and yet Gio says their name multiple times during interviews. I know which one I admire most and it has nothing to do with the fact that I support Rangers. On another note, how funny was it to hear Ally get tore into big scud book Kennedy re his 'dossier' on us he supposedly sent to Leipzig through an ex-player (Hinkel) . Can you imagine the contents of that weighty tome? 😁 And who would take seriously the guy who couldn't lay a glove on us when left carrying the can after his boss bolted mid season? Maybe ipad man (another one passed around like a scud book) is the real brains of the outfit 😂👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

5.) 30 Apr 2022 20:47:01
See if it was the other way about would any of you be happy if gio said good things about them if they had a good run in Europe? I think not.

6.) 30 Apr 2022 22:07:26
You're missing the point. Gio would, in my himble opinion, if asked his thoughts on it, praise them (and rightly so) fot going as far into the competition. Any right minded person would. Whether or not any of us would be happy about it is neither here nor there. But ok, let's play your game: would you be happy or not if the boss praised celtic for winning the league if it does happen?

Given how much we rely on Morelos for our style of play, it is negligence to not have a backup player of a similar style. Itten was brought back as that player but it has not worked out for him. I worry that Gio has not been able to keep the squad players ready and up for the challenge. That lack of trust is telling. Aribo is totally jaded and still played 90 minutes at the weekend. There has been a catalogue of failures and the price is now being paid. To start, allowing all the backroom staff to go with Gerrard immediately - right before the semifinal; capitulating to the request to move the old firm tie when we were on a roll and they were scared - at least they should have made sure that January signing s would not be allowed to play; poor recruitment; arrogance in facing 'smaller' teams and not putting in a proper shift to win games; poor team selections in important games. Add in the Sydney, debacle, boardroom unrest and stupidity from fans then that also may be a reason why the players aren't quite up for the challenge and looking for a way out. BUT Sunday showed that it is only a bounce of the ball going your way to win these games and where there is life, there is hope!

Evening Bear,

Your post is a reflection of the dismay us Rangers supporters are feeling since the start of this season.

What bugs me most was the Angie will be gone by Christmas boasts when he arrived at celts.

Just because he signed for them did not make him a nasty person and I personally declared on here that I liked him as a person after seeing his predecessor the chancer Lenny and his aeroplane antics and not his fault attitude.

Had they not dumped Lenny we would have walked the league again this season despite our own shortcomings .

Cheers mate.

That's a great post BB. Hope you and family are well. New couch my man?

3.) 05 Apr 2022 21:17:29
BB i agree he seems to be a gentleman and you can’t fault him in domestic football 32 game unbeaten run.

4.) 05 Apr 2022 21:32:23
Hi guys.

Family and new settee are fine Parlane my friend (I don't bother getting behind it now tho it's easy to see what's comin.

Wonder what would have been the outcome if Angie had signed for us Storm mate.

Cheers all.

Ange postecoglu seems a decent bloke but we also have to realise he's our rivals manager and we're against him and his team 💯%🤔 Respect is fair enough but not too overboard IMO.

6.) 06 Apr 2022 07:45:49
Coops it is respect am showing him as he had a hell of a job to do, I just hope gio is up to that challenge in the summer as we have a massive rebuild coming Celtic have showing that it can be turned in one season but they were good in the market and we haven’t. Fans were laughing at him saying he would be away by Xmas look who’s laughing now.

7.) 06 Apr 2022 08:05:33
How can Aribo be jaded he is a young boy and hasn’t played that much football? he's not jaded he’s going through the motions until he gets s move away in the summer.

And getting players in ther proper playing position.

2.) 02 Mar 2022 21:52:13
They did play in position though 🤦‍♂️.

3.) 02 Mar 2022 21:55:28
Who was out of position? What are you on sbout?

Yes. Goldson and McGregor culpable for both goals BUT we are a team of BIGHEADS. The pace dropped as soon as we scored the second goal. Recent games show that we need to play at full tilt for the whole game. Again we have shown lack of drive with Kamara and Aribo in midfield. For me, draws v Aberdeen and Dundee Utd are always possible. But today's result along with Ross County are the ones that may prove costly. We have had enough alarms but we don't seem to be reacting to them.

Another big decision going against us. This is a bit of a worry in a season when it looks like it is going to be tight. Important that we work hard, test defences and take referee decisions out of the equation.

BearAbroad

1.) 20 Feb 2022 14:01:15
Need to stop blaming refs for us being poor.

2.) 20 Feb 2022 14:16:22
Two big decisions. Sakala having the shirt hauled off his back.

3.) 20 Feb 2022 14:39:07
Aye, Gerrards.

I'm not a huge fan of Ferguson but he is cheaper than Sands and I do believe that we need to invest in some Scottish players to maintain our identity. At an age where he can play in the first team and still has room to develop.

Agree. One of the few SPFL players who looked like he could play! Signed a new contract at Man Utd though.

The 10m buyout clause meant that 10m was the max we would receive. Looks like 6m plus add-ons. Good business for Southampton given that they are getting an established Nigerian international. Southampton have paid more for other players with far less experience this year. I would have thought that we would have been able to get closer to the 10m up front. Experience has told me that we can't and shouldn't trust the board to always get it right.

Absolutely. He has his faults. as we all do. But proved himself to be reliable in terms of games played. And he's as good as we are likely to get in our price bracket.

I think your right. The board are rich but not that rich and are nervy about their investment - hence reluctance to spend and 'hoping' for the champs league riches given the other mob's start to the season. It is also concerning that our players are losing value by the game. A lack of business acumen.
