Cribari away to xanthi for £100,000 in January

BMc

1.) I hope you are correct fella. Could he take Faure with him? £100k might be optimistic but a result if it happens

Predicted 11 for first game v hearts? Thoughts?

BMc

1.) BMC – I was thnking more about the full squad
My first thought is - Is this really needed to win the championship?
My second one is - Is this saving money?
My third is - RB should have been a priority

Looking at each player individually, we have

Keepers (2)
Bell – will have more to do this season, let's judge him on that
Gallacher – looked ok anytime he has played, going to spent lot of time on the bench

Right back (1)
Foster – not the player he was first time round, canny tackle, doesn’t get forward enough, gave away crucial goals in cup games last season, gives ball away too often, not what you want from your first choice right back

Central Defenders (5)
Faure – played out of position at RB but will never be a player no matter where he plays
McCulloch – has given a few good seasons, can't question his loyalty but time has run out for Jig, will get caught out this season
McGregor – plenty SPL experience, hope he turns out to be a good signing
Moshni – I like big Billy’s attitude to the game but tends to switch off, good for a few goals when he goes up the park, he will have more to do this season, let's judge him on that,
Zaliukas (if he signs) – best defender on this list

Left Back (2)
Wallace – our best player by a mile, if he could deliver a better final ball and finish a few chances when he gets into the box, he would be worth a few bob
Smith – decent cover for Wallace, finished last season well

Central Midfield (5)
MacLeod – hope he can get fit again, has plenty potential but he will need to step up a level this season
Law – very disappointing last season
Black – very disappointing last season
Hutton – tries hard but has no pace and gives away too many passes
Peralta – don’t know what to make of him, maybe we could see him in CM for a few games in a row, good bet to be sent off if you like a gamble

Wide Midfield (4)
Aird – improved throughout last season, will need to step up a level this season
McKay – looks like a fitba player every time he gets on the ball, needs more consistency as he tends to drift out of games
Gallacher – has plenty pace, likes to get into the box, could be a big season for him
Templeton – can do some great things which can win games on their own, good combination with Wallace on the left, only criticism is that he tends to give the ball away a lot and too easily injured

Forwards (5)
Miller – will score 20 plus goals this season
Boyd – will score 20 plus goals this season
Daly – stopped playing 1/3 way through last season, too static, just stands in the box waiting for the ball coming, missed far more chances than he scored last season
Clark – going to spend lot of time on the bench as cover for miller and boyd
Sheils – disappears for most of the game, maybe playing better opposition might suit him

I have left out another 4 of
Kelly
Gasparotto
Halkett
Murdoch
Who will probably spend this season with the youth team

JG

2.) My starting 11 for our opener against hearts if we do sign zaliukas & cowie would be-bell, faure, mcgregor, zaliukas, wallace, law, black, cowie, templeton, boyd, miller

3.) Scott Allan's derby trial comes to an end, surely we'll get him now? if we sign Don Cowie over him that's criminal

4.) 09 Jul 2014 16:01:25
@ 3 what if the lad doesn't want to come .
r.f

5.) From the squad we have now (presuming Zaliukas is signing) I'd play 4-4-2 but with a diamond in midfield. So I'd have Bell in goal. Back four of McAusland, McGregor, Zaliukas & Wallace. Black sitting in midfield with Law & MacLeod either side of him given license to join the attack and Templeton in a free role at the tip of the diamond. Boyd & Miller up front.

I think Ally will go with Bell in goal. Foster, Jig, Zaliukas & Wallace at the back. Aird, Black, Law & Templeton in a flat midfield four. With Boyd & Miller up front.

6.) Quoted that he "would walk through broken glass to join the club he loves"

7.) New to this site would play
Bell
Monshni zaliukas Mcgregor

Black
Templeton Mcleod law Wallace

Boyd miller

@5 Must admit I like the look of your team and wouldn't tamper too much with it. Except I wouldn't play Black. We had no threat whatsoever down the RHS last year so I would have Mcleod and Law in central midfield with MacKay wide right and Templeton wide left.
What happens to the Bombscare and Jig- will Ally drop them if he has a new central defensive pairing- who knows?

9.) 09 Jul 2014 19:52:02
Would walk thru broken glass unless someone offers better wages like all players i'm affraid

Why do people want Dave king?!
Why do we want someone who has been charged for tax fraud in South Africa and contributed to the tax fraud at rangers during the Murray reign?
As I see it if he takes over say goodbye to rangers football club

BMc

1.) 02 May 2014 12:54:04
My question would be why can't the Rangers support organise our own trust that would organise our season ticket money en masse without the baloney of demanding security over assets that is never going to be granted anyway?

It seems obvious that King wants the club on the cheap and is using us for this end. Fair enough, I'd rather have him in charge of Ibrox than the current board any time but I'm not going to treat him as a saviour and at this moment in time I plan not to buy a season ticket but not give him my money either.

2.) Was one of the sleazedales not done with tax fraud also? What is it about rangers that seems to be a magnet to these sorts?

3.) Bmc or naz I have been harping on for months about this course of action if u follow king it could be end of rangers as we have known it kings demands cannot be purified and he knows that think what happens then do u think he will hand back everybodys monies straight away to season books or get them entry game by game ask your self what will happen to the money u may get some back but the burning question is when think of that

4.) Ibj d gave king will give everybody every penny back if his demands are not meat if he didn't give it back it would be theft of maybe millions

5.) Look the board cannot comply with his demands legally oror not king knows this do think if the board said no do u think monies would be returned next day and what about expenses run up by the fund lawyers etc adminstration I did not say he would not return monies I said when but it would not be 100%o f money put in d king is as bad as the board for being secrative part with your money at your peril

6.) Ibj d well according to the uof it would be fully returned

Any ideas on what 30+year old we will sign for next season?

BMc

1.) OP sadly for the sane amongst us this is presumably Kris Boyd

2.) Yeah I agree with NBear2 I think it will be Boyd. I'd love us just too push the boat out realise what we would give Boyd & Miller in wages & try for Stevie May he's exactly what we need, but hel get his move down South I think. It's a bad day when St Johnstone players are unrealistic targets but that's the way it is.
If Ally gets any kind of budget though i'd be happy to see Jon Daly Ian Black Cribari Perry & Hutton leave to accommodate May. The lad Scougall from
falkirks worth a look at too. In reality though I don't think we should be signing anyone just get our house in order but everyone loves a signing.

3.) Larky bear even if it was possible we could go for stevie may he is studying up that way at college in aberdeen I think I don't know when his studies finish but if poss ide love to see him play for us but when he finishes doing his studying ide imagine an english club coming in for him

4.) Larky bear excuse my ignorence mate it mccalister and not stevie may I was thinking of must be past my bedtime lol

Will rangers lose any games this half of the season? Thoughts?

BMc

1.) More worried abut losing players. The league is already won.

2.) Maybe!!

3.) Me, I am only interested in losing McCoist and the rest of the spivs from Ibrox. Nothing has changed get them out.

100% Boycott. for all the stupid fans who go to the games, grow some balls. They are just stealing your hard earned cash and you are allowing it. waken up. ffs

4.) Who cares we play a s*** style of fitba anyhow, I will never step foot back inside Ibrox till all the are gone. including McCoist

Would never get game at gers best option for most of the youth is to move away for less money so they have a chance to improve and get games. It's simple really?

Heard good things but won't get a chance under mcoist he's not correct age bracket and he'll expect big wage coming from England's premier league
