We looked a better team when Gio made the subs in the 2nd half, Liverpool are a class outfit, and Alan McGregor should get a medal IMO, he was outstanding.

Colak, Matonda, Sakala and Jack must start on Saturday and next week. Davis is only a bit part player now IMO, but, his namesake Ben Davies I thought was excellent tonight, the back 3 played well I thought. WE didn't have anyone putting their foot on the ball until the changes. Outplayed, but not disgraced, on to Saturday now and Liverpool again at home.

I think the extremely defensive tactics nullified our front 3. Kent never got on the ball and neither did Tillman.
Gio hoped Morelos would be able to hold it up but Liverpool, like the other teams in our group and including Celtic, provided a strong high press and gave us no time to link up.
This slow side-to-side has lay we exhibit is fine in Scotland but we get found out laying the bigger boys.
