I am disappointed with defending at corners, Goldson piss poor at both goals.
I thought sand was our best player Only my opinion but I had the fear when I seen him play but thought he done really well. Looked like we were tired in 2nd half but we still have a fighting chance but we need to put in a dortmund performance next week to go thru and I don’t know if the team have it in them this early in the season.

I agree with your Goldson comment storm, he was disappointing for both goals. Sands played well but I honestly though JL was outstanding again and he would have been my man of the match.

Thought both teams were pretty evenly matched.

They attacked with a bit more pace than we did, however hopefully we see a reversal of that dynamic next as they'll probably look to dominate the ball more at home and we'll look to counter.

Was good to see a few players who have been getting a fair bit of stick on here put in good performances.

Really like how our team is shaping up for this season.

John lundstram Fantastic thought Goldson had 1 of his weaker games tonight other than 2 or three crossfield passes didn't do too much. But you've got to remember he's trying to keep Sands right while keeping himself right. I'm sorry can't get on the Sands bandwagon we need a dominant LCB with pace. Sands is all over the place positionaly and brings barasic too tight and makes him look bad bring Balagun back Davies is supposed to be 5'11 ill give him the benefit of the doubt but not sure tbh.

John 26- Personally I would prefer a dominant CB to play alongside Goldson especially when we are defending at set pieces ( corner kicks) .
Seems to be a problem area of the team at the moment as we have 3 defenders who are currently not available who would play at CB.
Sands is not the long term answer and Goldson needs a natural CB to play alongside to give the team a bit of continuity defensively.
