I read somewhere that one of our injured players had mental health issues. If this is the case, could you cut one of our own some slack please. If I am wrong I apologise but at the same time he is still part of the Rangers family.

Its something we don't think of enough as fans, young men are most likely to suffer so need all the support they can get.

if you said who it was and where you read it mate, of course

“ mental health issue “ is a title given for a thousand different things nowadays, there’s scarcely a case that goes through glasgow sheriff court that doesn’t have the words attached i’m told, it comes in a mil lion different ways, some serious, some not,

i would bet there’s a lot more than one at ibrox with issues of one thing or another

same through society, depends on what it is,

There are plenty of people that have mental health problems but have no choice but to get on with it, they can't afford to stop working.

The folk who continually have a go at the same players day after day, would it not be plausible that they might also have mental issues? To find some comfort in the fact that they continue to belittle and slag players off from the team that they allegedly support then that would not be the actions of a sane person surely.

as someone who is treated with serious anti depressants for a long time i must say i personally haven’t seen anyone poking fun but again i would say mental health issues come in many form, most simply regarded as habits until they came under the banner, anyone suffering serious issues should be afforded the respect and treatment it deserves.

What if most of our squad have issues with mental health - are they all above criticism or is there a point where we say enough is enough?

Very few people have an easy life. Sometimes it's money, sometimes is stress, plenty of other issues that no-one else can see or understand but we all have to find a way to step up.

Professional football is a results driven game and supporters rightfully demand results no matter the circumstances.

Nothing to do with poking fun or trivialising the problem but I cannot see a poor performance or result being excused because of mental health issues.

i’ve no idea if roofe is the player spoken about, but he has long since been calling off injured, none as far as i’m aware was mental health or similar, all have been football injuries, and most of them most players play through or recover quickly from
again no idea if it’s him the guys talking about, real mental health issues is really serious, but unfortunately the label is attached to everything nowadays.

Could very well be Ofaborrh, who wouldn’t have issues if they might be unable to do the thing you loved.
