I see Duncan Ferguson has left his job at Everton. I would love to see the big man having a crack at management and be a success on his own right.

I think he would be a cracking manager no nonsense but with a mix of fun and games. 3pm on a Saturday then it's time to get down to business and you would run through a brick wall for him. Fingers crossed the big man has something up his sleeve.

Raploch area of Stirling he's from originally wasn't it? And remember playing against a few right good Carse Thistle sides back in the day with East Stirlingshire. Best of luck to wherever the big man ends up he deserves a fair crack at management.

I think it was John25 who mentioned maybe derby county for big duncan ?
I think derby would be a great move for duncan ferguson to start his manager career at ?Good sized club and with them now in english league one the only way is up, so imo it would be a good move for both big duncan and derby ?.

Walter he was approved by Derby hence reason he left Everton, as derby can’t afford to compensate Everton.

I signed for them as part of their first official pro youth set up, unlike many teams at the time we didn't have multiple age groups, in fact I believe there was only u16 and u18 so we were constantly playing against lads a year above ourselves but it was a good test. That would've been back around 03-04 if memory serves correctly and then ended up being picked up by Camelon Juniors for a short spell before losing some interest mate. Long time ago now lol.

It was Jim Harkins when I was there briefly gvb, and Macgonagal couldn't have been in too soon after I'd left and went back to amateurs for a few years.
