Not only was he our best Goalie ever but his performance at Elland Road in 1992 was the best goalkeeping performance I have ever witnessed. A small guy for a a keeper with a huge heart. You will be sorely missed Andy. Thoughts with his family ?.

Amazing performance that night. Massive, massive contribution to 9 in a row and a true Rangers man. Rest in Peace Goalie. ?.

Such sad news. During my time watching Rangers, which goes back to Billy Ritchie and maybe even George Niven, Goram was not only our best keeper but the best goalkeeper in Scotland.
I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times but the one that stands out was when he managed a Rangers Supporters Select against a Celtic Supporters Team in a game played to raise funds for Charity.
I was delighted to have both my sons play in a game that Rangers won with the 'goalie' playing most of the game. I remember my youngest son that played full back commenting that the way Goram talked him through the 90 minutes was incredible. His view was that you just couldn't lose with Goram behind you. After the game I was given Goram's gloves which he signed for me. It is one piece of memorabilia that we boys will have to wait for! An incredible goalkeeper, a great after dinner speaker, and a genuine top guy that will be sadly missed by all those that had the pleasure of meeting him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. There will only ever be one "goalie"

I was only 10 years old then but remember it so well. What a performance from him.
