Anyone else think it's strange how a lot of our fans are desperate to give boys in the b team a chance to prove themselves and step up, yet constantly freak out about the lack of transfer activity? Feel sometimes people just want a signing for the sake of wanting a singing.

If we were to sell aribo, I personally hope we don't spend a penny of the fee to replace him because I want hagi and lowry to be fighting for that position. I also think that if we do sign colak, and we keep morelos and roofe, then it should be someone like weston stepping up as a fourth choice striker for the team. Then the only position I think we need to strengthen is the rw position.
If we come put this window with colak and a rw and we already have soutter in, then I would be happy.

I know some disagree but I’m happy to see a pathway, when many thought Lowry might leave they said no way, we want 5==8 million, now he is officially a first team player, so technically we have brought in a five million player.
Add inn mcann and king as well both now confirmed as first team squad players. They are like new signings

As I have said there are many more with incredible potential.
Wilson has stated if we have a kid in bteam, two years from first team we won’t spend two million, we will manage situation re our own players and couple off loans.

This may well be rationale re McGregor Davis Arfield, loans re Ramsay dialo sands

It’s actually a good business model.

This makes a lot of sense John25 -looking at the bigger picture and a wee bit of forward planning is something we've been lacking for years, if not decades. I think extending a couple of older players for a year to allow youngsters to develop into the roles over the next 12 months makes a huge amount of sense and will give us massive long term benefits. Ross Wilson et al seem, in my eyes, to really know what they're doing. Having said all of this, we do need a couple of signings in key positions but I don't feel there's any need to panic at this stage.

Said it before, Ramsey is a no brainer. Struggling to understand why, at the right price, anybody would not want a world class talent in their squad. Especially one who has a reputation for helping young players around him and one who will be busting a gut to get fit to represent his country in a world cup. Is it because he had a penalty saved in a game where he was brought on for 4 minutes after bravely agreeing to take one? I firmly believe Ramsey feels he has unfinished business with us. As I've said, why would we not explore this avenue? Just don't get it.

The Seeker ;In an ideal world Ramsay would be a great signing top player but only when he’s fit and I’m afraid that isn’t that often, maybe a pay as you play deal but would he agree to that I don’t know so maybe better with someone who is not injured so often.

Totally agree our fans hardest to please if gio doesn't play boys it's a disgrace. If he plays them and we were to lose it be a disgrace. Folk are going on as if we were rotten last year we are a good team folk need to waken up. Yes be good to get few players in which I hope we do but it's no as if we need full rebuild unless we lose big players.

John are we bringing in these players as we have no other choice money wise? Or we bringing them in because they deserve it and so it’s saving us money? Lowry is yes he deserves it the other two not seen an awful lot of but have been impressed.

Personally I reckon we need an attacking midfielder who can shoot, a first choice right winger and a striker but they all have to be first eleven players. Defence is well stocked if Helander is fit and now that McGregor has signed no need for a new keeper unless McCrorie goes. That would leave some chances for the young boys without depending on them week in week out. Could Alegria maybe be involved as 4th striker?
