Lowland league experience could collapse over whether or not hearts get in too. Msil saying if not all 3 then were out. Forget backing hearts. The point is to play against men more not fill lowland league with kids teams. 2 is enough. And why should we help out hearts.

They are not fully in with the concept, as they should be allowing promotion, so players can grow and go up levels (or find their levels) if teams get promoted then that one league would also not become saturated with young teams.

In all fairness every top teams should have the opportunity if they want and can fully fund it themselves.

It's only going to benefit young Scottish players the more teams are willing to put out teams.

Most spfl teams can hardly even afford their first team so I don't think many more would be massively interested.

Also if the overall quality of young Scottish players improves, then it means more opportunity sign quality Scottish players in the first team (in additionto our own) .

Can understand league blocking promotion as would harm their chances of getting up but if they say they only accepting 2 then why should rangers quit and harm our development just for hearts sake. Fair point all should have equal chance but over time more would want in and would devalue lowland league. Those clubs and fans don't want to just be seen as a kids training league.

Well technically it’s our B team and I assume all the players are on pro contracts but I could be wrong.

If those guys are scared of not getting promoted over kids, then that really says more about the lack of quality of that league and even more reinforces that last year was a good start but they need to allow promotions.

It takes a competitive edge out of the set up and even more embarrassing for one to the others to finish second and get promoted by default at the expense of kids.

I think they just have to go all or nothing.

But it is beneficial for us to play professional football mimicking the first team set up making transition to first team easier I suppose.
