See minority of fans from both sides continue to be more interested in ancient tribal nonsense than creating modern football clubs with global outreach.

It's an absolute disgrace, but what did anyone expect? Football fans should be able to travel the world in safety, but that's not how it works. If anyone who travelled there thought it would be a nice wee jolly, then they were wrong. The UK are arming a nation who are fighting the Serbs biggest ally, who the Red star fans quite obviously back, and our fans think it's a good idea to travel?! C'mon, this was always going to be dangerous. And If I'm being blunt, it was always going to be a bloody stupid idea to go over there.

Hopefully get cancelled. Fans have made a fair bit of noise about it on both sides. ( not just the UB or fan groups either) from all over the stadium.

BMGH01, I agree mate, although its normally great to go away on a Euro jolly, I would have given this one a VERY wide berth.

Yes, let's get into bed with Celtic and celebrate them. That's what Rangers SHOULD be about!

European away games are usually a blast Bar72 and live long in the memory (the ones you're sober enough to remember), but this one was destined to be a nightmare. Our fans should have been dissuaded not to go. Whether they would have listened, I doubt it.

No doubt we will be hearing the usual songbook from the thugs tonight.

Same song book that was dortmund at home and red star at home storm. easily over 40k singing. Not just small away support that's usually claimed.

It's a disappointment from a financial aspect if the Sydney jaunt gets cancelled.
The club needs to explore every commercial opportunity out there.
The Womans FA Cup in England have just signed a £3 million a year deal! Compare and contrast that to the prize money on offer in Scotland!
It's a narrow mindedness from the same fans ( both clubs ) who will be greeting about being unable to get a ticket for the Scottish Cup semi-final to see their team play their "biggest" rivals but can't bear the thought of playing them in a friendly on the other side of the World.
Each to their own.
