Anything North of £10 million for our second choice RB is fantastic business for the club.
It fills the business model criteria the club have expressed on a number of occasions.
Patterson's sale also brings in much needed revenue without damaging the first 11 and may allow Gio the funds to strengthen the first team.
It's always sad to see "one of our own" leave after he made the transition from youth to senior squad. But there is no guarantee, especially in this day and age that players will be at clubs forever.
Money and personal ambition always talks.
What he has done is show that with the right attitude and ability you can progress with Rangers.
All the best for the future, Nathan Patterson.

Great bit of business from Rangers if deal for Patterson goes ahead. Will that money be used to keep the lights on for the rest of the season or will Gio see any of it?

Sugar coat this all you like but our team should be built around our own homegrown players, patterson has huge potential and will be worth more in a year or two. if its 10 million up front that's too low imo.
