While we're on the subject of scotland, i think its about time steve clarke drafted ryan gauld into the scotland squad! He's been superb in the last 18 months or so and has started his MLS career like a house on fire 👌Gauld is a talented footballer, no doubt about that 👌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

I’m not sure where Gauld would play as we have a number of good players in front of him? I’m sure he’d bring something to the squad perhaps? I thought Gilmour was very good, so composed on the ball and a joy to watch. I used to think Hanley was just a big lump of a centre half but he’s actually a good player and I agree with you SGL, him and Hendry were excellent. I really hope we make it to the play offs, at that point anything can happen.

I've said to my mates for a while we should bring Hanley back to rangers. He got a lot of stick early on but he has came through that. Goldson won't stay but even if he does none of our centre backs are known for pace aggression and strength, Hanley has plenty of that. If we were to play him next to someone calm like helander we would have a pretty solid defence.

Hanley OK when has to defend his own goal but can't pass the ball and is definitely not type of player Rangers need and is worse than CH already on books.

Just my opinion a good side would be a step too far hopefully I can be proven wrong.
We in this country seem to go a bit mad when Scotland get a decent result then we are brought back to reality very quickly.

I think Hanley works well in a back 5 but wouldn't fancy him in a team that plays a high line and presses (especially with Tav going AWOL) . He's definitely improved from his early days but I think we can do much better.
