We've got stephen kelly now on the perifory of our first team squad and charlie mccann close to being part of our first team squad, so no need to pay over £1million for ali mccann imo 🤔 That's also the reason we won't sign lewis ferguson!

100% we should have gone for him. our midfield isn’t getting any younger and Kelly and the 2 McCanns would have been perfect competition for Davis Jack Lundstrum. IMHO McCann is better than our 2 lads, he’s been playing prem league football and is an international. Shocked we didn’t go for him.

Wouldn’t give St Johnstone a penny. We have 2 real good prospects in Kelly and McCann ……wouldn’t buy Ferguson either……or Doig nor Nisbet…. all over hyped in my opinion, glad we stayed away from any of them….

We could have matched the Preston bid, I’m genuinely surprised we didn’t. I totally agree that the price quoted to us was a massive no go but at the final sale price we should have stepped in. I hope Kelly gets some game time and nails a place in our side but I’m just not sure he’s going to.
