I know most us bears rate/ like borna barisic and if he is on his way from rangers, it has completely came out the blue! So my question is, if borna indeed is leaving rangers, where do my fellow bears reckon he stands in the ranking, of the left backs our wonderful club have had over the years? 😞I have borna well up in my ranking but behind my higher rated 1 and 2 in arthur numan and davie robertson 👌
So what's our opinion and thoughts on this fellow bears?

Papac got to be up there but numan definitely number 1.

So better than John Greig? Why rank players just enjoy the fold ones we have its not a competition 🤔.

SGL I’m of the age where I’ve seen the three of them and for me Borno has been immense even more so after his shaky start. For me Arthur has got to be the best out the three of them and I’ve met him loads whilst he played and most occasions was in Sainsbury’s in Hamilton whilst doing the weekly shop lol. I remember the day both he and Larson was in the store and I was getting a quick pic with Arthur and he said “ if you ram him with your shopping cart I’ll let your wife in the photo “ hahaha he was a good character that absolutely loved our club just as much as the other two.

1 Numan, 2 gio vb,3 borna,4 Papac. Loved Sasa and getting to the 2008 final makes him a legend but Borna the better technically.

I'll go with those two SGL. I never thought we really replaced Robertson until Numan arrived. Being a big Bowie fan it was great to see a lookalike playing at left back 😄.

SGL
I don't know your age but frame of reference stinks and few names thin at best. You missed some Rangers greats. What about Greg, Caldow, Shaw, to name few. Suggest a book.

MBW, of course i know of caldow, greig and shaw but before my time mate 👍
My 3 rated best left backs would be
1.Arthur Numan,2.Davie Robertson and
3.Borna Barisic 🤔Thats because i've seen all 3 of these left backs in the flesh 👍.

Stig, Huistra was a winger.
Numan, Robertson, Barasic then Papac for me. Papac was a better defender but you can't ignore the goals that Barasic has scored/ made.

Davie Robertson for me 👌🏻 Probably Numan, Borna in another season or two may well have been up there!

Eric Caldow was top drawer in the Rangers team of the late 50s/ early 60s and Willie Mathieson, who played in the 1972 European Cup Winners' Cup Final.

I am a child of the Sir Walter Smith era but for me I would have to go with Numan. By all accounts a great guy who really bought into the club. Fantastic player and (IMO) was one of the best lb's in Europe when he signed for Rangers.

Davie robertson was a tremendous full back for me. Numan shades it slightly from davie tho, then big borna.

We all have our favourites and the older we are the more fortunate we have been to see some great full backs. Eric Caldow was the first left back I remember and he was way ahead of his time as a full back that was not only a quality defender but was excellent going forward.
So many quality left backs to choose from!
