As regards this new 'third' top. I tyink it's safe to say that the vast majority of fans will be disappointed and dismayed.
Most of us had hoped it would be based on the original Rangers top, white with a blue star, to salute and remember our gallant pioneers who started this epic journey.
This is a golden opportunity missed commercially, because I am convinced sales will be poor while a proper commemorative top would have flown off the shelves. I'm sure this will cost both us and Castore a lot of money and will not endear those involved to the support. In fact, serious questions need asked here about who within Ibrox agreed to this awful thing being foisted upon us.

I think it's just a rip off now they've released about 10 different tops and training tops screwing the fans for every penny.

You can rest assured that their will be a 150yr top available next year.

I’m told it’s Robertson and bisgrove who select the strips.

The purple top is atrocious
Why out of 3 tops have we not had a modern take on the original white jersey with blue star on the chest.
They’d best have something up they’re sleeve as I’m not impressed.
Lastly does anyone else think all the training tops are nicer than our actual kits? The orange ones a belter. The white one as an away top would’ve been a cracker.

How are they screwing the fans for every penny Aye Ready?
You don't need to buy them if don't want them. At least the club now makes big money from the sales of the castore gear.

If that's the case, John25, they need to seek more informed advice on what their loyal consumers want. Probably a white strip will appear early next year and as usual we will lap it up. I fully understand that the club needs to capture as many sources of revenue as possible, but this purple monstrosity won't do that ans smacks of fleecing.

I think we have brought that purple kit out for our female supporters! If they like the top then we will sell plenty, but I agree, it isn't a kit that would motivate me to spend money on it, apart from, for my grand daughter, that is. Looking forward to a commemorative strip in 2022!
