Does anybody else think that Martin Boyle could offer something on the right? I’ve not watched him week in and week out but he seems to have a very good reputation and seems to be a very influential attacking player for Hibs. He has 18 month on his contract so I would be surprised if Hibs were looking for crazy money. His pace could be a real asset.

Hibs always want crazy money, allegedly he has a 500k sell on clause, this was reported in summer.
Only issue I have is how do u use that pace against 451.

Pure pace isn't what we need. Need some skill as usually we find ourselves playing against 10 men behind the ball with no room in behind. Not that it matters but he's also a massive celtic fan.

I actually like Martin Boyle think he’s a very decent player.
Don’t know how he would do at us as people say 10 men behind the ball all the time. But he’s certainly a good player.

We need someone who is willing to take a shot from outside the box. We are very predictable when we need to get back into the game. Steven gerrard was known for shooting from distance but rarely do we do it.

I reckon that we need a ball winning ball playing Souness or Gerrard type but then, so does more than half of the EPL. What I do know is that we will be highly unlikely to get one free so we will need to spend money to bring in someone with some of those credentials. We also need a right sided winger with skill who can cut inside and put the ball in the net. We just might need to sacrifice a couple of our current Squad to fund the purchases. Unfortunately that will mean that we will need to spend further to replace whoever we sell.

Bit of a divisive player, way better than Barker and Middleton wouldn't be to distraught if we lost those and gained Boyle.
