Guys with goldson not signed a new contract do u think we should cut our losses and move him on bringing in a transfer fee? I think we are well covered at the back theirs bn rumours about our helander but believe goldston is our only player with one yr left on contract. i'd sell him, bank the money n see if their are any decent free transfers out their who can imrove our squad on the same capability as our other players. just my opinion 👌💙.

I'd be surprised if Goldson is still here come the window closing, I definitely think we should be looking at an experienced CH as not replacing Goldson would seriously weaken the team and to lose him for nothing would be shocking business.

100%. The club is not in a position to allow a sellable asset to run down his contract and move on for nothing. As much as I would love him to stay, we must sell him If he's not going to sign an extension. No player is bigger than the club!

Absolutely immense last season but we can't afford to let anyone run down their contract.

Any player comes into the last year of his contract should be sold. if he refuses to leave then should be ommitted from the team completely and made to train with the youngsters with no game time.

Although I wasn't totally convinced by Goldson in his first 2 years he was outstanding last season. I would prefer him to stay but agree that we can't afford a sellable asset to run down their contract. I think we are well covered at the back and Katic is as good a player as Goldson in my opinion but where Goldson is invaluable is his communication at the back. He's the organiser and that's what sets him apart from Katic.

Broxi it’s alright saying get rid off, someone has got to want him for our price. They can sign him for nothing in January with Goldston getting large signing on fee.

Katic is nowhere near the same level.
He was prone to making mistakes, terrible positional sense, rash in the challenge and is a terrible passer of the ball. And none of them will have been rectified with a year on the sidelines.
But he's worked hard to get himself back to fitness and would benefit greatly from 6 months to a year on loan rather being 4th / 5th or even 6th choice CH at Rangers and hardly playing.
On a positive note he scored a wonderful header against Celtic.

Unless we can bring in someone who can step into the team and do the job Goldson did last season, we should keep him! Yes I know, controversial, but if selling him and not getting the right replacement means we don't get into the Champions League, we lost a damn sight more than we would get for a transfer fee for him right now.

I can remember how much we bought him for but if we can get into the champions league off the back of him staying and running down his contract I wouldn’t mind because of the money we would get from that.
