The only good thing about watching that game last night was seeing a footballing masterclass by Modric. The guy is still amazing and the way he knocks the ball around with the outside of his foot is a joy to watch. They absolutely humped us in as big a one sided match I've seen all tournament. At least young Patterson got a taste of what's to come for him on the international scene and we move on to the world cup. Denmark and Austria away and Moldova at home in September so I look forward to those. It was great to see fans back in the stadiums again also. At least it created a buzz around the country again and let the younger ones get the feeling of what competing in a tournament can bring to a country. Unlucky Scotland but we deserved nothing and got what we deserved.

Sorry three cheers but got to disagree with your one sided comment. For first 20 mins Croatia were not in the game at all. A one sided affair is from start to finish getting pummeled and not getting a touch of the ball, or very few. The thing that got to me was the fact that majority of people assumed that this wasn't that big of a task. We are talking about a team who were beaten world Cup finalists only 3 years ago. They deserved more respect.

Good news Scotland have now lost the accolade of being the team gubbed in a one sided game. That honour has now been passed onto Slovakia who were gubbed by Spain in the new best one sided game.
