So guys. As we all agree, and not cause we dislike the man, Steve Clarke isn't up to the job. Who should be the next Scotland manager? I don't have an answer as i write this, I'm going to have a think just like I'm asking, but for me it's an interesting debate?

Think to be fair to him he done well with what was available at the time to get to the Euros, the squad has improved and he’s putting players in the squad at least! He just needs to take the final step and put Gilmore Patterson etc in from the start, Keep in mind it must be difficult to drop the player my who done no wrong in getting us there for the 1st time in 23 years but that was their opportunity to hold their place which many didn’t take! Arguably Marshall, definitely ODonnell, Armstrong, Dykes, Christie! Should all be replaced, personally I like Patterson, Gilmore, I’d like to see Turnbull behind Adams The GK well Marshall would stay in for me but that’s up for debate!

I actually like the system he plays for Scotland it suits us if he would play Patterson with 5 defenders a full back has to be good going forward.

Had a quick look guys we had a load of them .

Didn't realise the manager does not need to be Scots, Bertie Vogts was foreign.

R1 that’s all fair mate I agree. Before yesterday I’d have picked marshal but now I’m thinking would Gordon be better.
Patterson
Gilmour are both musts.
Tierney will be back.
I like Gallagher cause we don’t have enough aerial threat defending or attacking and he’s never let Scotland down and infact he’s been outsatanding every time he’s played for Scotland. Just not a fashionable name.
He dry would be out.
I thought Hanley was immense.
Fro me Forrest replaces Armstrong.
Adams replaces dykes.

Would Harry rednapp be interested in our national job? At his age it could be a last hurrah. He’s a top class manager n a top class guy.

Lennon? He knows half the squad already.

Marshall has been a superb keeper for Scotland, he made one mistake in the Czech game, otherwise played well. Whereas, O'Donnell is indeed a donkey and should not even be in the squad, he dribbles off the park with the ball and tackles his own player, can't cross to save himself, woeful.

The Redknapps would be interested in washing the windaes if there’s enough cash involved

Greedy people.

Biizz, I’m kind of starting to think that now I’ve sobered up and calmed Down.
Marshall isn’t bad atall. Wee mistake and as Clarke stated ball could’ve went anywhere when hendry hit it. 3 seconds later it’s In our net no diff from Kemal
Roof really Is it? Marshall isn’t bad atall. But I think now, I’d put Gordon in for England just
My oppinion.

Didn't know the manager didn't have to be scots? Aye Berti was German but England have done all right with their English managers Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, the latter I believe was from Hull.

Next manager of Scotland is already learning his trade With Martinez at Belgium. Has been doing top coaching schools in Europe, and has just finished advanced coaching with fitness guru, also finishing modern footballing tactics coaching. Shaun Maloney.

TBH I think Mclaughlin has been great for us when called on and would do a turn for Scotland, certainly would be far less likely to be caught sneaking up to the centre circle.
