Can anyone explain what Clarke sees in Dykes to be our main striker? From what I can see, he can't run into space for balls over the top as he has no pace, he can't bring others into the game as his control is poor and can't hold up the ball. He doesn't even seem to win many headers and for our striker he can't score - think we dodged a bullet with him not coming to Rangers.

I was optimistic this morning but have never been so disappointed with a team selection. Stephen O'Donnell shouldn't be near the squad never mind the starting 11 - young Patterson would have been a better option down the right. What was Marshall doing at the half way line? Was he not even dropped by Derby?

Hendry, gave away the ball for their 2nd when the easier ball was out wide. Thought Armstrong was having a good game but was taken off, don't see what Ryan Christie brings, especially after the season he's had. Adams should have started alongside wee Nisbet. Thought Robertson was immense and doesn't deserve to be playing with such mediocrity. I actually fear England will take 4 or 5 off us.

I agree o'donnell is woeful he has a long throw that's it patterson may not have played many senior games but is miles better. Dykes is a presence up top but not with christie if he started adams running of a target man would have been way more effective. Was so optimistic today but really deflated and fear wee will be bottom and worst team in tournament now hope i'm wrong but that was colin nish man.

Sgl dykes was absolutely shocking. Would be very surprised if he started another game. Very very poor. clarke would be better playimg same formation as us and having adams through middle.

Dykes is a donkey SGL mate. You could play the best striker in the world upfront with him, and he would still look like a donkey.
Was it that big of a surprise they got beat? Did we really expect a victory? More to the point, did we really expect Clarke to pick a winning team? Useless manager, playing useless tactics, with a starting 11 laced with useless players.

Nesbit would be a better option. Pace power determination your and a great goal score and his assist numbers are outstanding he was involved in almost 30 goals for an average jobs team.
