Just seen the massive Union Jack flag at the England game with Southampton printed in the middle with a Rangers badge above it .
If you don't back England or and if the home nations your crazy and probably part of the dark ages mob that think if your Scottish you need to hate England and want them to lose . What a horrible way to be brought up to hate a country .

The nationality on your birth certificate shows where your born. yes you have a British passport for the only reason is it's open travel within the UK. if Scotland becomes independent your birth certificate stays the same but your passport doesnt. you also support Celtic because there scottish/ Irish? Or every other team in the UK leagues for that matter.

If you could describe England in one word for me it would be Arrogant, and I would include not just football but every sport they play, and I bet my bottom dollar majority of their fans and players wouldn't want Scotland to do well at anything either.

I was born in Scotland but have lived most of my life in Northern Ireland since 8 was about 10 I've only ever been to 1 Scotland game but always supported my country and had a proud sense of being Scottish although when my family moved to Belfast I lived quite near Windsor Park where NI play I started going to NI games at about the age of 14 basically as it was easy as I could take a 5min walk to the game and my girlfriend at the times dad was a mad NI supporter going to every game home and away so I kind of got the bug and have supported NI along with Scotland ever since and I've though about where my loyalties would lie if there was ever a majorly important game between the two and tbh I really can't make my mind up I'm torn between the two but when England comes into it I used to not really want them to do well because it usually gets rammed in our faces for years when England has success that was until 16 years ago when I met the man who was to become our manager along with the rest of the England squad of the time and just from the time that guys like Stevie G, Lampard, Beckham, Rio ect took to stand and talk to people and sign autographs it changed my view of the England team and proved it the media that cause all the hatred towards England as the players themselves said they don't like they way the English media build them up to expectations that they will ultimately fail to achieve and in most cases we should remember these guys came from the same type of backgrounds as most of ourselves as fans and were lucky enough to have the talent to be successful but also in saying that there were guys in that squad the seemed just arrogant on that particular day and isn't wish to give the fans waiting outside the stadium on the day before the game any of their time at all guys like Rooney and Owen and other guys who weren't even picks in the first 11 who probably had arrogant high opinions of themselves like David Bentley who just snubbed the waiting fans but in the most part the guys who people perceive that would have snubbed fans were the ones that gave the fans their attention and time.
