Serious question here fellow bears! Who do you want to win between scotland V england a week tonight in the euros at wembley 🤔
I've been in a debate this evening about Scottish born and bred rangers supporters supporting/ wanting england to beat scotland 🤔😡What are these characters all about 🤔
I as a bear of many years will always want the country of my birth to beat england 👍Common scotland 🙏.

I've never understood why anyone would do that yet many do. Folk blame the sfa which is madness because they are just a bunch of arses behind the scenes. It's your country you are supporting not an organisation.

I've never understood some people's views on the Scottish national team mate. Unfortunately my own nation are not going to be participating so my support will be towards Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

I don't understand that mentality. If you are born and bred in Scotland (whether a Bear or not) surely you must support Scotland? I never want England to win anything, but I guess that's partly because I've lived in England for 37 years now and have taken some stick from England fans for being a Scot! Being British is one thing, but being Scottish, English, Welsh or Irish is another.

Its a game of football for crying out loud, it doesn't define you as a person (idiot) who ever you want to win. Our team has more than a few playing for us only because they are not good enough to play for England, they, of course, want to win badly but will want England to win the tournament if they cant, what's wrong with that? For the record I want Scotland to win, of course I do but if none of you don't see that it will be used for political reasons then you are a tad naive.

I've felt immense disappointment with Scotland and especially over the last few years. It's not that I wanted to be anti Scotland but Scotland have been anti rangers couple that with this SNP nonsense that sweeps the country that to be a rangers supporter and a unionist makes you there enemy. Prior to this scurge of the SNP we could support our national team and still be proud of bring British but this has been hijacked with misinformation. Our fall from the top was a chance for everyone to blame us for their failing which is exactly the way the SNP treat England. If it had happened to Celtic I guarantee that they would have received the same treatment from the rest of Scottish football we did, but in the situation of ourselves a team who supports the union it has been easy for the nationalists to use our plight to devide and conquer. Re-establishing rangers players in the Scotland side and making them needed is the only way that we can stop these feelings towards us and to stop the haggis hugging fanatics from cashing in. It's hard to watch but we are in a major tournament and every other time we have been there I go into it with my head ruling me say oh it's just about being there then when the whistle blows I'm fully committed believing anything could happen. What I would say support Scotland from home as a rangers supporter, let them go to London and see how they behave and see what humza and krankie have to say when they are involved in a full scale battle either with England fans or the police. come on Nathan Paterson! We are behind you!

If you asked Rangers management they would not say they are unionists. they may say they are glad to be part of the union but at the end of the day they rightly so divorce themselves from political issues. i am sure there is a lot of rangers fans who believe scotland would be better off alone (not saying its right or wrong) but its time the support did the same thing and respect everyones own beliefs and not criticise them simply because they are different from our own. this goes for politics/ race/ religion. it is not welcome in this day and age and we need to move forward. simply i support rangers and scotland. i don't want england to win anything, i only want scotland to win (not much chance) but that's the same as i only want rangers to win.

Few Good points livi, I agree with the majority of what your saying. However if your Scottish your Scottish n that’s it. Same as Indians and Chinese and Americans Russians n so on. U are what u are u can’t chose that IMO, but also I perhaps shouldn’t be calling other people idiots over such things as which football nation they choose to support. I do though think it’s very odd behaviour to not support you’re own people.

I don't like to take the moral high ground to be honest, support who you want. I have fallen a little bit out of love for the Sco national team and to be honest Scotland as a whole for various reasons but still back them and always will. Not one part of my brain supports England, team GB at anything yes but Eng no no no.

Ingerrardwetrust, I'm British mate I just can't help wanting to see rangers players represent Scotland and feel I can support Scotland which sometimes it's been made clear that Scotland haven't wanted rangers or their supporters but we must support our players from rangers and if we can get more in the Scotland side the better for everyone. The only scottish players we have livi bear that could play in that scotland 11 are McGregor and Paterson. McGregor is retired, which is a shame. Jack isn't good enough to start, McTominay, Gilmour, McGinn are all better by miles. Its not Scotland's fault that we don't have better scottish players. 👍.

Good on you kja and of course I get it but its a game, its not treason to find it hard supporting a side made up by mainly celtic and ex celtic players and managed by a bigot of a manager that can only hear bigotry from Rangers fans. Our supporters call themselves an army and dress up in regemental hats. Its a game.

It says Scotland as country of origin on my birth certificate. born and bred Scottish so Scotland. Any1 that says were British then I'll say this. your birth certificate will say Scotland is country of origin if your born here yet you have a British passport. You only have a British passport as were part of a union with no borders and free travel between countries. if Scotland becomes independent then which 1 of that documents need to change, I'll give you a clue. It's not your birth certificate so your country your from is your origin of birth. simples.

This is far too political. In sport, I'm Scottish 100%. I consider myself British snd proud to be and Scottish and proud to be. Some of my best friends are English but after a sporting fixture, football or rugby, we have a drink together. What I do have a problem with is people banging on about being Irish when they live in Scotland.

Might be wrong, but perhaps indifference to Scotland is historically we ain't set Heather on fire. This might go all way back to 1978. SFA ain't helped. I personally each game don't want it, but semi expect a kicking. Our team seems to be full nobodies, even EPL players. Still think no impact, players or team and down to above.

I think what’s poster meant re Jack is he prob doesn’t get in ahead of mctominay now, Gilmour will likely take McGregors spot in team during this tournament and McGinnis the best mf we have. Jacks a great player but I’d struggle to fit him into my 11 if I’m being honest. It would mean dropping mctominay back to CB n j prefer him in mf.
