I would argue next season is one of most important for a long time. If we qualify for the CL it will bring in I think 25 million, a good bit of money and if we win the league then straight into the group stage. That would almost guarantee us at least 50 million within 12 months. That would put us in a very good position with regards to getting players in, being more financially stable and competing at all levels. Its going to be a fine balance however to not over spend just now but get a squad capable of the monumentally important CL qualification and to win the SPL. I personally think right now our team is good enough for the 3rd qualifying round but a player or 2 short of that vital CL knock out games as we seen against Prague, which is the exact level of team we will face. If all that happens we will create a gap between us and them allowing us to dominate. let's not forget however Celtic could do the same albeit with a more difficult pathway. So let's learn by Celtic mistakes if a player wants to move on let them go, quickly and replace them, don't mess around. Bit of luck and we will do it. All the best bears. 55💗🤍💙.

I agree with most of your post. remember tho winning the league only gaurenteed champions league group stage if the winners of the champions league has already qualified from there domestic league position. If we qaulify this season for cl then win the league and football gods look down on us and we do automatically qaulify for cl then we could be looking at around 80 million plus over the 2 seasons if fans are allowed back in. potentially a big couple of years for gers.

Fully agree that next Season is by far the most important given the potential for a direct route into the Group Stages of the Champions League however we can't look to sell off all our best players, even if we have others waiting in the wings to join us. Some players take longer than others to settle into a new club and we could see towards the end of last season that in terms of quality our squad was wafer thin. I would suggest that we could afford to lose Kamara and Hagi providing the transfer fees were substantial and by that I mean at least £25m in total for the two of them. Hopefully we can also pick up a couple of £million getting rid of the fringe players like Jones. That sort of money would allow us to balance the books and invest upwards of £10m in new and better players. For me, if we are to be successful in Europe we must hold on to Kent, Barasic and ideally Goldson, but we do need to bring in two midfield players, ideally another striker and if we lose one of our mainstream centre backs, then another central defender.
