Just been thinking about this lowland league, with so many of our youths going out on loan playing at higher levels then I'm sure gers will still want this so gets me thinking that the team playing in the lowland league will be under 18s possibly. thoughts?

My point being tho Paul will rangers drop youth players all the way down to the lowland league where there capable of playing much higher standard and have done so this season. All of our loan players this year have done well at much higher standard leagues so making all these players drop down to the lowland league will halt there development. Personaly I can't see it. I think we will still have the majority of lads going back out on loan to full time higher league clubs with the likes of u18s playing in lowland league.

Hi DD, I have every faith that our development team within the club will make sure that our young players are loaned out to clubs playing at a level that will really help develop them. I agree with you that a lot of our u18s will probably be the ones who are playing in the lowland league games and I think this will be good for them to be playing against men week in week out. If they show promise they can then be loaned to a team in a higher division. I think it just gives us more options on what to do with our promising players which can only be a good thing.
