Is alloa a big credit to ferguson coldo? He won league with kelty buy payin big wages in that league. Done terrible at clyde. Thot he would have stuck it out there. KT doing well with the youths and his own football academy hopefully he stays where he is.

Local thinking is that Barry has left Kelty while on a high, the thinking is that they might struggle in the league and Barry feels his reputation will not be as high if that happens. Fair play to him, although I think Kelty will do well in League 2 personally, certainly better than near neighbours Cowdenbeath!
If KT does make the move to Kelty though, I hope he does well.

Barry said the decision to leave Kelly was made at the start of the 2nd lockdown.
also Kevin Thomson is full time manager of our b team which will be competing in the same league as kelty so would he really want to leave Murray park and all the pros of being at rangers to go to kelty? I’m not so sure.

I like KT and I hope he does well as a manager wherever he works. Who knows one day he could be our 1st team boss.
Billy Graeme Murty is still working in the academy. I think he's like a boss overseeing all the teams that play in the academy. I can't remember his job title but he is still there working hard.

Although i really rated and liked kevin thomson at rangers, there's no doubt for me that barry ferguson was the better midfielder ðŸ‘On the coaching side ATM, most definitely KT seems to be way ahead of baz and is very highly thought of within the corridors at ibrox 👌🇬🇧.

InGerrardWeTrust, you are incorrect in what you said - The Colts team will be playing in the Lowland League which is the league that Kelty have just been promoted from. Kelty have a very professional set up and have planned for a couple of promotions in quick succession seemingly!

His time at Clyde was doomed to failure from the start
Firefighting is the best way to describe it, lots of managers have taken jobs like that in they’re fledgling management careers, it’s a hardening process and a lesson in man management, Barry has succeeded in getting kelty up, , I wish him the very best of luck and I would never rule out him becoming a great manager, maybe even our manager,

Kelty will likely be favourites to go up again next year. They will have the biggest budget in league 2 by some way.
Seems odd for Barry to move on but wonder if their is more to it, or if he has certain assurances at Alloa.
