I see that Brentford want Hibs' Nisbett. Wonder if we missed out there last summer. Right in front of our faces. I do rate Itten though but just not getting game time. Doig right in front of our faces this time too.

Why can’t we do a Chelsea John and put out youngsters out on loan until there is a place in the squad for them, if they perform well enough we sell someone in their position and bring them back and if not we sell them on. I don’t think Bassey will cut it mate just my oppinion so borna and doig then when borna leaves bring maxwell back from his loan. I’d like to see him in the spfl anyway 1st. Same with Dickson and Kennedy and MayoI also the next use won’t make the grade.

Both hibs players are good, I think hibs will want too much money from us and quote something daft like 5 mill each, then sell to Celtic or an English team for less.

Most back up players we bring in are on free transfers, I would spend what money we do have for 1st teams players that would walk into starting 11.

John how does any1 come through the youths if we buy players. its all about raising another level, Maxwell may have kept doig out of Scotland u21 but I bet you that will change, dogs at a higher level now and playing well regularly for his first team, Maxwell still in the youths and going out on loan, who knows if Maxwell's even gona make the grade at spl level but we know diog does and excels in it.

Nisbet could be the best available replacement for Morelos, he could easily take on the role Alfie has been playing this season. I would get him signed up in a heartbeat.

If Nisbet could replace Morelos already, we can't afford him.

The role that Alfie plays for us will not be easy to fill and certainly won't be another player in Scotland that is brought in.

Agree 100% john and championees. Maxwell has been getting great revues and is keeping Doig out the unders team. Why buy a player for 2m from a tin pot club like Hibs when we have a better player on our books waiting to step up?

The thing about nisbet. We watched him multiple times before we went to hibs.
For whatever reason we would not spend 300k on him.
