I have not posted for a good few months but have continued to view the debates.

As the season closes and the objective of 55 has been completed, I am posting to concede my previous poor judgement.

I was one of a few at the start of the season who doubted Tav, Kent and Barisic. The debate was raging whether we should sell them and if they were Rangers quality or good enough to secure the 55

I questioned all of them but not so much their ability but rather their mentality to become winners and deliver. I recall stating that Tav in particular was no Rangers Captain, and we would never win the league while he was our captain. While I still believe he is short defensively at the top level, he has proved me completely wrong and his game and winning mentality has grown massively this year.

Barisic also has proven that he has the mentality to be a winner, and he can more or less pick his club when he decides to move on.

The biggest apology goes to Kent as I thought he could not deliver enough particularly when the chips were down. He has improved his upper body strength and grown from a boy to man in the last 18 months and is now a real team player. Last year he was easily pushed of the ball and this year he does really well for a winger in 50/ 50 challenges. This improved strength has allowed his undoubted ability and pace to flourish.

The team's performance this year is debatably the most important in Rangers history and I congratulate every one of the squad for bringing back much needed respect and belief to our club banishing the difficulties of the journey back. Special thanks to the 3 I doubted and will check myself in the future and not hold my opinions so closed. They were possibly a measure of my and our fans collective desperation to be successful, and I am happy to admit I got it completely wrong.

Onwards to 56.

Very well put moly’s

Very good indeed, and I join you in not being entirely happy with the commitment of a couple, but hats off to them

Rangers fans are used to a certain type of player, who is committed and ready to die for the cause if you like, this group aren’t quite at Walters, souys or wee dicks level, yet, but they done great, have a great day.

Thanks Bluebilly

When you are wrong you are wrong - most important thing to me in 2012 was Rangers FC survival. This can now be replaced with Rangers FC continued success.

I am definitely a different Mols but we probably both share the same favourable Rangers Player.
