Guys after the game at the weekend it got me thinking, if we could hold on to all of our sellable assets in the summer and could only bring in one player, for which position would you guys like to see us strengthen? Can be for a first team position or for back up. Purely hypothetical but would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Centre Mid for me Broxi. Purely for succession planning for Steven Davis and Scott Arfield who are pushing on in years and potentially Ryan Jack who seems to be continually suffering injuries. I think we're pretty well off with all other positions especially with the free transfer signings we've made.

Ofoborh or maybe Kelly could be good enough but I've not seen enough of either to make a proper judgement.

A TM type ST, hopefully see more of the 4312 with two 9's. I think the jelavic type would compliment that set up. 👍.

I’m torn between a backup for Kent or a first choice for the right of attack as no body has really nailed down that position.

I think all points are good re cover etc. I think sakala can cover front three
Kelly ofobhor will add valued cover.
So for me a top top midfield player to go into team immediately. Veerman has good rep, and would potentially make us big money. I also want lundstrum there.

Depending how we set up. if it's the 433 then it's a right forward. if it's the 4312 then it's a tough tackling midfielder I think.

i think players offering fluidity of formation along with pace is the future with maybe adding that creative midfield quality man going forward everyone is inexpensively striving for.

I still find it incredible that jell never made more of an impact down south or abroad coldo, I remember talking to Jordan McMillan and him telling me the players at Rangers we’re in awe of him in training

I'm very well Tom old chap, can't wipe the smile off my face after the game and Gerrard's post match press conference on Sunday. I work with tims so gloating is all the more better knowing that we took 4 goals off them. 👍.

Yes Ed, he did have an injury, but maybe before that, he was a prodigious talent, had almost everything imo,

Just thought he would have been a big star in epl

Also admire big Duncs obviously deep rooted love of Everton, surprises me when they took the cash for him that Newcastle got him

It’s a fickle place the English top flight,

It’s great coldo, I had a polish driver I’ve known for years but he’s a Tim, I haven’t stopped reminding him of the most successful club in the world, he didn’t know anything about that.

The tims at my work said they didn't expect us to play two up top Tom and they think that caught them out. Couldn't disagree with them to be honest. They also said that us being able to have defoe on the bench and they had griffiths was a reality check for how far behind us they really are. Again I couldn't disagree with them old chap👍.

They did the same the season before coldo and destroyed us, in the league chase

Always found it strange that system is hardly used nowadays but it’s lethal in the right circs
