Everyone on here rates our superb midfielder steven davis very highly and rightly so 👌🇬🇧
Here's one for all fellow bears 🤔Who was the better midfielder in their hey day between our legendary captain barry ferguson or our wonderful midfield playmaker still of today steven davis 🤔.

I would say Barry, definitely, I remember talking to Rangers players older than Barry and they couldn’t believe how far ahead of everyone else in the country he was,

Advocates was a world renowned coach who said he was the best he’d seen in a long time.

As much as i rate wee davo very highly, for me also baz was the better midfielder 👍I've said before that barry ferguson IMO, is the best midfielder to come out of scottish football, for the last 25 years 👌🇬🇧
I agree TT12, that baz held more than his own in our midfield beside guys like gio, albertz, ronald de boer, tugay, reyna etc 👍 They all said baz was a wonderful midfielder!
I remember us playing bayern munich at ibrox when baz ran the show in a dominant midfield display that night against the superb big german midfielder effenberg 🤔We drew with them 1-1 and even effenberg said at the end of the game who's this young superstar rangers have in midfield called ferguson 🤔He went over to baz at full time and told him how superb he rated his performance 👌
Ferguson dominated effenberg and the midfield in general that night! Says it all for me 👍🇬🇧.

Never ceases to amaze that there are some who have no idea how good Barry was, or Derek for that matter

And so indeed was Charlie Miller, a prodigious talent

I ha an older retired pal who coached and scouted for a few teams, including Celtic for a wee while but mainly his love of Rangers brought him back to rangers,

He has always loved Charlie as a mad boy and massive talent.

Yip TT12,charlie miller was a very talented midfielder without a doubt 👌Baz's big brother derek is the same age as me and i agree, some bears just don't realise how good derek ferguson was 🤔I think barry eventually proved he was the better midfielder of the two, although not much in it 🤔Ian durrant was absolutely something else before that b*****d simpson seriously injured him😡What a dream that would be coldo, to have both baz and wee davo in our midfield in their mid 20's just now 🙏.

I shared a park with Charlie Miller, when I played junior football about 10 years ago roughly we had a friendly against team called tynecastle and even then at a good age he was superb.

Davo is a true great for us and northen Ireland even at 36 he's heading for poty but barry ferguson was a belter of a midfielder a level up i think.

He told me a story about taking a Rangers team to play in Belfast in the old milk cup

Charlie ran amok, then told my pal he wouldn’t touch they’re boy who was having a go, queue final whistle, and unconscious Irish fella

Charlie miller was an unreal talent but never quite kicked on barry ferguson was unreal. Champs league games once made captain by advocaat always stick in my mind used to boss games.

Barry was world class imo. Wee Davis is also a great player but not at the same level.
