Asombalonga has been declining for a couple of seasons now and the fact he has been told to leave Middlesbrough now due to his attitude is a red flag for me.

Thoughts appreciated.

Sometimes players attitudes are due to the environment that they play in. We have a really good infrastructure and a good group of lads that would even make Victor meldrew happy. If the boss says the boy is good enough to wear the famous blue then bring it on.

I don’t want him mate. Doesn’t appeal to me tbh. From what I know of him he’s a player who should’ve done better in his career. Unfulfilled potential.

I think a lot of agents just try and make their clients think they are doing a job and mention us the press are a nightmare with all their links that are just for the sake of a story. I don't think we will sign him.

I don't think we need to go and spend big money on untried and tested players from abroad, when we have 2 players on our doorstep in Boyle and Porteous who used to the league. Thoughts?

Porteous is a horrible defender, mis times tackles, dives in way to much and can't pass is way out of defence.

Wright never stood out for Aberdeen and has had a great start to his rangers career.

I don’t want him either he’s no better than katic, Edmundson not sure about Simpson. but that doesn’t take away from the fact he’s a good central defender. Just cause someone’s a good player doesn’t mean I think we should sign them all.
