I don't believe rangers will sign clarke-Harris, Peterborough always get top dollar for their players.

We will not spend excessive amounts on a player from league 1. Between spending £0 on Assombalonga and £8 million on clarke-Harris it will be Assombalonga they would choose.

Sensible economics in the middle of a C.V., our club is being run correctly now.

Rangers fans need to be realistic here, the cloth needs to be cut for a few years to come. Soft loans or Champions league money isn't the way to run a business long term. For a start we ain't even guaranteed champions league money for a start. We are losing money in the bucket loads each season and the way to stop this is buy players on the cheap and sell them on for a profit.

Sweep1, I've always said that once we won 55 the business plan would be to sell one £10m (or near it) player every season (along with any that are no longer required) to help balance the books, but at the end of this season it would be two for the same reason. Sensible and steady as she goes, because we're not yet on an even keel, as you say.

These are difficult, unprecedented times but the wages Rangers are paying some players (if the list on here is true) is not sustainable. Once the crowds are back and we get CL money next season things will get better but we must learn lessons from the years when we paid huge wages for players. Get some of the kids in now to play in the Scottish Cup and remaining league games and see how they perform. What is the point of an academy if we continually loan them out? There's an old saying, "If they are good enough, they are old enough". I think Matt Busby said that. I know Denis Law and George Best are obvious examples but surely one or two of our kids can break through now that we've won #55?

We should have gone Toney even at 9mill he does looks to be a steel and will move on to bigger and better Clark-Harris maybe in the same mold but never seen in so not sure just my humble opinion.
