The only thing about that match that was any good was the score line. Hopefully we can move on from this. And what was Motherwell at? That wasn’t even football! And the same questions are being asked of our team that were asked the previous seasons. I believe we have a talented team but this is scotland, the pitches don’t hold up to winter, the bounces won’t be perfect, the rain will be pi$$*ng down, the wind will be howling. Sometimes it will take more than skill it takes guile, determination and wee bit of brute force. I am not sure our squad completely understands that. Passing the ball around for 70 minutes while 1-0 down is rarely going to yield a result in the SPL.

Except today, extremely difficult to play against a team playing the way Motherwell were. For me their goal was disappointing but we did what we had to.
Subs helped and just got to win ugly sometimes it’s three points in the bag.

I'm sure our squad fully understand that mate. Motherwell parked the bus after they went 1 nil up. I've never seen that before in my life - a team parking the bus so early on. There was no attacking football from them at all until we went 2-1 up. Great great performance from Rangers to play against a team who played negative football.

Score line was excellent, mentality was excellent, kept on pressing and plugging away, SG changed it at half time and made 2 excellent subs in Hagi and Itten which ultimately changed the game!

To go 1 early on down after a difficult week and a stubborn Motherwell team, I think the squad and the coaching team deserve a massive pat on the back!
16 points and we March on! Well played Rangers!

I remember that game John and we didn't play anywhere near the way Motherwell did today. 2 banks of 5? Walter Smith was negative at times but we could always score against anybody.
