Sooooo.


We played average. Made 5 changes. controlled most of the game, shagger didn't have a save to make ( that i remember) Alfie comes in scores a goal we go 6/ 6 in the group. 14/ 17 clean sheets. Buuuuut yet we still have negativity. We were way off our best tonight. Why look for negatives! 🤔🤔🤔.

No negatives from me pal. Ground out a result which is the mark of a good team. Whole team did what they had to do. Good that Alfie got his goal, we need the Alfie of 2019 to kick on now.

Hi guys don't post often but I think when we can win against a decent team when playing below our best is a good sign. We all know we can do better but take the 3 points and move on. Big game on Sunday but I think we'll be ok. 55 on the way. W. A. T. P.

Very happy with any win in Europe myself but have to say, how can anybody compare the scoring records in Europe of McCoist and Morelos?

I don't want to have a go at Alfie but his goals have only come in the lesser European tournament, including against some pub teams in early qualifying rounds.

I wasn’t we won while not playing our best. They played a style we have not faced this season and played possession football at which they are very good at. The problem with them is they don’t create enough or was it we a so defensively strong. Great 3 points with Sunday more important 🇬🇧.

Can't agree with you Geromino, the lesser european tournament is still of a very high standard. He has scored against porto home and away, feyenoord away. Last night we were playing a very good footballing side and we weren't great.

A big of magic from Barasic and to be fair to fredo, a bullet of a header, great movement and great finish. That's the fredo we know and want. His attitude has always been his worst enemy and if he curbs it then we all know what he is capable of.

I hope it is the spark he needs because we are playing great stuff just now, defensively sound and a fit and firing fredo with the right attitude will be scary good. He hasn't turned the corner yet but its certainly encouraging. 👍.

I did want rid, but he is still here and if he starts to produce the goods then great, that's what we want. He can't just turn it on and off when his mood suits. We all know how good he can be but what would be the point of keeping a player that did not want to be here? He has a chance now to knuckle down. 👍.
