Don't know if anybody has mentioned it but how bad was Clancy on Saturday? Constantly blew up for the slightest of things in an effort to break up play and booked big Itten for getting into a 50 50 tangle of legs. Shocking game he had. Also, how much of a tosser is big Clubfoot? Usually creaming anything that moves but goes down like a wet lettuce when somebody brushes against him. Absolute clown.

Seeker, yip, agree with you sir. Clancy did have a poor game which was very noticeable. Is he a Celtic man by any chance ?

He constantly hounded Itten. Clancy is a wet wipe and also a Celtic fan. We should have refs with no affiliation to any club in that league. I once recall sumhin abt getting foreign refs in for our games. Wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I actually made the same comment to my Son after the game, and we both thought he did stop the game a lot unnecessarily for stupid fouls, it's amazing just how much that can knock a team off their stride, he wasn't awful though by any means.

Clancy was brutal. He made one major decision and got it wrong. He never allowed the play to flow, never played the advantage, always blew for the infringement. He knew what he was doing, of course, and in the second half when we were battering them he blew seven times in 3 minutes for trivia.

Clancy was terrible. I don't think he's biased. Just that the standard of referees in Scotland are poor to be honest.
