So, if Lille have dropped their interest in Morelos, how do you think he'll respond to that? Is he going to take the huff because he hasn't got his move or is he going to knuckle down knowing that he's got serious competition now. ?

Morelos is over weight mate go back and watch last week he was shooting from difficult angles cause he couldn't beat his man his attempted run were laboured the guy needs to loose 1.5 stone in my opinion.

Hopefully he knuckles down and becomes the player that started last season. There is no bidding war for him and any, if there was, interest has certainly went cold. Tells its own story to be honest. Hutton wrote the other day that morelos was only getting a game because we had no other strikers who were match fit and that Gerrard can't wait to drop him, we saw this against livi, let's be honest it does show a lack of faith if you need a goal and you take your 'top' striker off. I agree with hutton, I think Gerrard wants shot of him. I just don't buy that we knocked back 16mil, there isn't exactly a queue for his signature. I would love to see the morelos we know up front in a two with itten. Fingers crossed it happens today🤞ðŸ‘.

Despite the negativity surrounding Morelos, he remains our most potent threat by far. He has been involved in 5 of our 7 goals to date. Other teams know that if you stop Morelos you stop Rangers. His attempts have often been from difficult angles, not just this season, as we insist on playing throught the middle. Also, he is often the only option in the box making him easy to mark. He does need to improve his fitness. But this makes me question the quality of recent signings if they cannot replace our half-fit striker.

They can replace him, scoring record when it really matters in the league is utterly abysmal. The so-called superstar hasn't helped us win anything in three seasons. Give the new players a chance.

bear abroad roofe has done half a pre season i think once morelos goes we won't miss hs goals with itten and roofe hitting form no problem. Think itten will be a far better more composed finisher than morelos (who tends to snatch and blast everything)

Give itten, roofe a chance. Let's all remember we're sitting top of the league. Morelos might not be at his best but even then he's contributed so far this season.
