Think we have all mentioned this way too many times now but we won't get away with having Tav in the side this year. Game after game defensive frailties. For our two 'leaders' Goldson and tav never seen to communicate with each other and tavernier is a detriment to goldson's game. Goldson i believe can be a very good defender for us if he cuts out mistakes when on the ball however i feel tav has had 5 years now to improve and its still not happened. We badly need to sign a Rb imo, and if possible move him on for a fee.
Good to see Helander back in the side and playing well, now gives us 3 solid choices at CB with Balogun.

Unfotunately any mistake Tav makes inevitable leads to a goal. To be fair the wee guy Diaby is like lightning so not sure he could have stopped the goal in any case, even f he had been switched on.

Tend to agree Dunf, I said a couple of years ago that we would win nothing while Tav was captain. Couldn't keep weans oot a close and wanted to take every corner free kick and throw in, even on the other side of the park.

Helander done ok considering his time out but certainly lacks pace so his reading of the game needs to be spot on.

Davis i feel will only be a squad player rather than a first choice this season as he slows the game down far too much and will be detremental to our pace up front.

A lot of us have said for years that tav is not good enough. People then say its stats are great cause he scored 20 pens🙈👍.

absolutely dunf. it was the thing i noticed first. hesitation and failed passing broke down to most of their best chances. i had the same thought.

Correct Coldo I have said on numerous occasions that Tav ain’t good enough. I would like to see someone with a bit more experience come in and take young Patterson under his wing. Because he will learn nothing from Tav, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.

Seeker, yes maybe he couldn't keep up but i don't think he needs to track him there, he simply needs to pass him on to goldson.
Poor communication which i think is evident between the pair of them on several occasions.
I tend to agree with jim that we won't win anything with him a stalwart in the side.

I think many of the mistakes Goldson makes is because he's caught out trying to cover Tav's position while he's galavanting up the pitch and maybe panics.
