Well we got our bottom handed to us there although not unexpected

Bit worrying how Tav and Helander look like they are running in sand. Davis looks like on last legs and Buff better away if tcc good are the level of application

They are a quality side but we really don't look to have much pace of creativity

Jack really is just a water carrier. More signing required and not really the season for tinkering.

Helander is very slow. But so was davie weir. Both read game very well. Helander was our best player imo.

I like Ryan jack as a player but i think its time we trying find a replacement in the dm role we should be looking for someone who likes to tackle and has some presence about them we just seem to lack that in the middle of park and that could take us to next level.
I think we should also be introducing Jones back into team instead of barker.

Making tav captain was one of Gerard's biggest mistakes and he has done nothing to change that and it could cost him the job at the end of the season if he delivers no silverware.

I know that leverkusen are a multi-million pound team, but we really looked like a team who just wanted damage limitation after the first leg. I honestly don't know what to make of Alfie, he's either very unfit or not interested, he may have a problem if no club makes a firm bid for him, as we are led to believe is the case at the moment, because the two new strikers will want to make their mark. I think we got a lot further in europe than we expected this time last year, but its domestically where we need to make a mark now, starting this weekend. let's go!

Tav was already captain when he came in. wouldn't have went down well if he came in straight away and took it off him.
