I don't get why Sheff Utd are happy with signing Foderingham he never looked in control at Ibrox he made a few vital saves for us but he had many shockers also it didn't help Kiernan was playing RCB mind you but never in a million years did i ever think aww i'm so glad Foderingham is our keeper today he was an upgrade on what we had and he got us into the prem but he's defintely a cheap signing and low risk i guess but its a massive drop in class from Henderson to Foddy my misses used to think he was gorgeous but said he had no chance as he wasnt very good with his hands XD.

I though Fods was a very capable keeper who like every keeper made the odd mistake.

Had McGregor been injured he’d have done a solid job.

Regarding our new keeper, to be honest, I didn't know much about him but I have to say he had a great debut on Thur night. He looked very confident and has good presence. Looking forward to today's game.

I think he was a very solid keeper, unfortunately for him he never had a decent central defensive partnership in front of him.

I genuinely thought prior to McGregor coming back up the road that it was between him and Lewis at Aberdeen As to the best keep in the league. Think both those keepers shaded Craig Gordon at the time.

Descent enough guy but not when it comes to standards in goalkeeping unfortunately. Mind the time he got beaten at his near post, twice in one game. Those are not the skills needed to play at a top level.
I played junior as a keeper and got beaten at my near post once and it was something I was never able to get away from. My abilities would always be questioned because of it.
However, with that said, I wish him all the very best of luck for the future, he is and will always be part of The Rangers family and he stuck by us.
Good luck big man.

The most successfull teams are the ones who don't depend on their keepers.

Most of their keepers are bored wi nothing to do as their team are up the other end scoring goals and his defenders stop the opposition from geting near him, (unlike our defender Tav) .

Now I await our name calling so called support slagging me off again for my opinions.

Blue billy what a stupid comment to make saying top teams keepers have nothing to do. Do you actually watch any games or do you just sit bitch slapped watching Corrie? 🤣🤣🤣 I’m just winding you up mate, I agree with you 100% because every keeper makes mistakes, the good ones just make less. Winning teams have folk like vandyk in defence making sure the keeper is kept quiet.

The GK in the best teams compliments the side in my opinion Billy. Look at Allison or Ederson, they are an outlet for starting attacks and allow the defence to press a higher line and stifle teams. Can kinda see where you are coming from but if they weren't important why do clubs go forking out so much for the top boys?

Ha ha Alloa, yeah I have to watch that dross corrie unless I go upstairs if the footies on at the same time or I can forget any bedtime desires mate.

Another win tonight for us an I'll gladly watch the dross on Monday wi her indoors.

Bring it on Rangers.

Bluebilly I am sure you have said in the past that we would never be as successful as smeltic? By your statement of clubs being successful without a busy keeper? League cup final? FF?

Aye FF, the fish supper would be tackled by Ford.

Hi Mols

Dont know where you ever saw me saying we would never be as successfull as timco .

I am a true RANGERS supporter and we were miles better than timco for years till Davie sold us down the river wi his shennanigans.

You have heard me saying this is STEVIE'S last chance for us to be better than them this season, maybe that's where you got the impression mate.

Good luck to foderingham I predict he will be third choice, but hopefully he gets a good pay day in epl.
He was a mare with ball at feet.

Bluebilly, not sure i'm in complete agreement with your opinion on most successful teams don't rely on their keeper. Sir Alex Ferguson once said a good goalie is worth an extra 10 points per season and can't really think of any truly successful team that didn't have a really good goalie who probably bailed them out on more than one occasion in very important games. I will say though that in some SPL games Rangers could put Wurzel Gummage in goals and still win.

David who?

Successful teams don't need a good keeper? I take it that you are too wee to have seen The Goalie win us 15 points every season?

And stefan klos, der goalie, after him. Both good for at least 10 points a season.

That would be why Man Utd pay they’re keeper over a million a month, must be because the rest of the team are pish,
