Is it just me? Zungu scored 2 in 52 league appearances. I thought we needed an attacking midfielder capable of scoring goals that’s what we have been lacking. Oh well have to wait and see I guess, fingers crossed.

It was a hard defensive midfielder i was led to believe we were needing to sign the Muppet and that's what zungu is. He's strong and physical.

SGL if it was rumoured that we were going to sign an attacking midfielder, some on here would say we need a defensive midfielder just to be contrary. I posted elsewhere that most fans agreed we need a more physical presence in the middle of the park and that's what we're going after. This lad is tall, strong, physical, energetic, likes a tackle and can find a pass, and if the C.V. crisis helps reduce the price, even better mate.

I'm sure you've read my post on here regarding the defensive midfielder i would have wanted us to sign the covenanter? It was tapia who's a free agent after leaving feyenoord mate.
But of course if it is to be zungu that gerrard has earmarked for that role in our team, then without a doubt i'll trust his judgement! 👌.

The covenanter, what's your take on the wingers we've been currently linked to mate! Guys like skov olsen, diangana, crysencio summerville etc? I would hope here that we sign skov olsen from these 3.Having said that all 3 wingers look really good and any of the 3 would undoubtedly improve our starting 11!👍.

Wee signed hagi he's attacking midfielder and imo i think centre half on loan probs to cover katic and a proper right sided pleyer way better than ojo and possibly 3rd striker i would be happy with that.

We lack the ability to break down defences there is no denying that. For that we need creative midfielders capable of killer passes and an eye for goal. Zunga is missing the latter part. At the same time I agree we need more steel in the middle of the park.

Well if Zungu is the presence we need in there and has the attributes that yous guys say that will do me. The attacking midfielder is hadji, I don’t see him as a winger at all.

I really like the look of Zungu, I think his will energy give aribo and hagi more breathing room to create upfront, and his passing accuracy and range will benefit the wide players etc too, I’d be delighted if we signed him 👍.
