Serious question - where do we go from here? I stated on here a couple of weeks ago in reply to the usual "this is a dip in form, we'll come good again, it's only a matter of time before Celtic have theirs" etc etc, that what if we can't come out of this and we struggle along like this until the end of the season and it certainly looks like that's what's happening now. I've read fans say we sell players and buy in quality, however:
1.Who do we sell?
2.Is there any guarantee that clubs will actually come in for any of our players?
3. If they do, their values are dropping daily with their recent performances
We are in serious trouble here - something is toxic within the club and the team is in free fall.
Now to the manager, when he was unveiled, DK said he ticked every attribute? Really, with the exception of management experience. But that was ok cause it's Stevie G and he ticks every other box, global name, great player etc. Surely no one can argue that he got the job purely because of who he is. To all the people on here who can't see past SG as they are blinded by his career as a player (of which there were outstanding achievements, but ZERO titles), in reality what we have is an untested youth team coach with no experience whatsoever of managing a top club, or any club for that matter, or even any experience of 1st team coaching. He seems a likable guy and clearly cares, BUT he is out of his depth and it's now showing. If we were watching this shambles unfold under Warburton, McCoist, Pedro, Murty then there would be mass protests by now. So please people, stop clinging to the hope that SG will fix this - I don't think he knows how to.

Ok then SirStruth. We get rid of SG? We then get rid of the shamble of players that are on show? Where is all the money going to come from for ANOTHER rebuild?
Cause let's not fully leave the blame with SG. Its not him missing the amount of clear cut goal opportunities. He drops Morelos. Who comes in? We had people on here claiming Davis was the man to take the captains armband? The man looks past it.
I know he picks the team. I will never understand how Kamara gets picked, how barker gets on the bench, how tav and goldson never get dropped.
Our wide men can't supply our forwards, our forwards can't put the ball in the net. Our defenders can't defend.
So who to we blame? Gerrard because he picked the players or the players who can't even do there job?
You know the really weird thing though. We are really missing one type of player. A Gerrard, a player that can drag a team over the line showing heart and grit.
Kent last season was amazing, that's why we bought him. Morelos has up until the new year be outstanding. In europe the defence has been a rock. Before New year our mindfield could pass any team off the park, dominate and control games. Those abilities don't just disappear over night. Its a very very strange thing that has happened.
Personally I think Gerrard will be here till the end of the season and next. We don't have the money to rebuild. We just need the team we say before the new year back. God knows where it has gone.

Stick or twist? I'll stay for now with SG. Although he's not a Gers man through and through and we won't win the league by reckoning this season, he has brought us through Europa so far.
Europe isn't the home league of our club, but it's all we've got up until this point in the 2nd half of this season. Not enough by our standards, but an improvement no less.
Water finds its way, even though a drought.
