Anyone else think alfies first yellow was a joke, never a yellow, a foul at most!

The refereeing performance was a shambles, unlikely that it will be looked at in retrospect. For me there was absolutely zero consistency from the referee, however even with the twelve men on the pitch, we still won. unlucky Clancy.

I agree 100%, don't see how the first is a yellow. But the wee man will miss one game, Max 2. Two unjust sending offs but he's got them all riled. Love the wee fella. Don't care if he doesn't score V them if we win, he creates and is a team player.

I think it’s about time we, as fans, stood up to the horrid refereeing we are subjected too every single match. Yesterday as an example had 3 possible reds overlooked on their behalf, but Clancy already had the second yellow out before Morelos went down. Brown's simulation for the first yellow was ridiculous as well.

I understand our support not wanting to go down their route of claiming conspiracy at every turn, but there’s no doubt it has worked for them and the time has come for us to put a similar level of pressure on officials to start officiating games fairly. They’ve already cost us a league cup this season, I don’t want it to go any further.

In any case, buzzing we overcame it yesterday and hope we can carry this forward and get back to where we are supposed to be. Mon the Gers!

Ally, agree with you regarding Alfie booking but there are certain arguments, first referee nowhere near experienced enough for old firm match nor does he have gravitas to referee 22 players in OF match. Still think Alfie SO was him trying to put stamp on overall refereeing.

Second, Alfie needs to realise every Scottish referee gunning for him and if he wants eventual move to EPL being on park half a season ain't going to help him. Finally, just read Tic page first time in life and reading them demanding team rebuild and admitting they got gubbed sending me into raptors.

Andy, shambles would have been acceptable however he took bad refereeing to a whole new level. I don't think theve invented a word to describe it.

The ref was terrible. Christie got booked for a foul and then less than 10 mins later he handled the ball whilst he was on the ground just outside our box which the ref gives as another foul, he should have gone for that as it was a deliberate hand ball. Worst refereeing performance in a long time, just glad it never cost us.

Alfie will have been banned 4 games in total after yesterday and he was very unlucky yesterday. His first yellow wasn't, and in fairness he's not the first striker to dive. He has screwed the nut this season and has been our best player this season (him or Jack)
