I read Murty talking up Jamie Barjonas for the first team. The problem we have is that we don't have the luxury or time to transition a talented academy player into the starting 11. Every other team except Celtic are able to because they're not expecting to win every game and most just want to avoid relegation. Then again look at Chelsea. Hadn't had a youth player crack it since John Terry, UEFA transfer ban and 5 or 6 academy players are in the team and most called up to their international team. There must be a solution.

I've backed barjo for a while to make it at rangers. I recently read about him being told SG and other coaches believe in his ability but told him, he required to become more athletic and trim down abit which he has done and now looks like the all round midfield player.

Barjonas is not even remotely good enough for Rangers!

Clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, can take a couple of rebuilding years without the fans getting too upset if they are seeing progress. We can't, we've had our wilderness years and now it is imperative that we win this league as soon as possible. After that monkey is off our backs maybe things will change and we can blood a youngster or two. Barjonas has already been called up to the first team squad so he can't be far away.

Disagree c of ibrox. As does Sg who extended his deal and gave him a pay rise.
