Did anyone see the Eros Grezda two goal salvo and his celebrations in the Colts win at Solihull Moors? This is a player who seems to be working hard with a determination to be getting back into the first team frame. I know after the Ballymena incident some supporters have expressed the viewpoint that the Ibrox exit is the only place now for Grezda. He, undoubtedly, is a talented player and we may yet get to see this. surely the Barisic situation is a timely reminder to some on here not to be writing off this player too prematurely?

Barisic didn't spit in anyone's face and is a Croatian international. Grezda will never play for us again.

Myself and my son were amongst the 500 bears at Solihull, he was quite impressive and there is obviously a player in there, and I remember similar things being said about Borna not that long ago. It will obviously be up to the powers that be at our club that will decide his fate in the long run. time will tell.

Souness i don't think he's good enough but spitting has never put anybody out the club b4. So why now?

If our manager decides to play him, he’ll get my support.

I watched him play for the Colts v Berwick Rangers and he was quality there too. Some of his crosses would have been right on to Morelos napper.
Worked his socks off. We should play him and get some money back at the very least Sshowed a great attitude as well as great ability.

If we want some of our money back
To need to give him some game time
Even it's not with the first team.

There is no way back for this guy at our club, and it's just not the spitting thing. He's been found wanting in his training, his lifestyle and much more, and any fool can see that playing at this level he should be a stick-out. We're merely keeping him fit for the next few weeks when we can hopefully get rid of another wage thief.

I bet the boys saying he shouldn’t play for the club again never said anything about Gazza when it came out about him wife beating.
Also the fans gave Flanagan a chance as well and for me hitting a woman is worse than spitting.
People are using the spitting as an excuse because they don’t think he is good enough.
If he was as good as gazza for talking sake people would still love him and that’s a FACT.

Well. in making my post about Grezda and his performance in that Solihull Colts team I wasn't inferring that I believe him to be a stick on to be getting back to the first team squad. but as Dunbar Blue saw this guy is working his socks off in these games and his celebrations against Solihull suggest that he really wants to be with us ie is not going through the motions eyeing his next contract away. some players, for whatever reason, egs cultural acclimatisation can take time to be bedding in at a new club. all I was suggesting is that he might be one of those types. the spitting thing WAS demeaning to the club and could well have finished his career with us. but as Gannet has said others have found a way back after perpetrating far worse misdemeanours.
