Coldo, I was responding to Bathgate's post regarding continuity, which you agreed with, hence my post to say that Kent, on the bench for the Motherwell game and not stripped for the Ross County game, continuity being the word, would miss out.

Continuity mate would be playing our best players rather than tinkering for no reason. Continuity allows players to build form which creates momentum. With the exception of a few, hardly any player has been afforded continuity. 👍.

To be fair guys, you're both right, but Kent did say himself in a post match interview, that he is just now getting back to the fitness level required, so, I agree with SG on this one, he sees him everyday as do his analyst back team.

Yeah irvger he's just back from injury, I mean in general that we need more continuity. You just have to look at kamara now that he has had a run to build form. The guy is class and bosses the midfield with davis and jack👍.

I wholly agree with you Coldo, the central defence was my biggest worry for a while, but, he seems to have stopped tinkering for the moment, I know you rate Katic, as do I, he's still young yet and will be used a lot over the course of the season, I rate Edmundson also, so good cover there.

For me the problem position is the right forward. If we can offload a few in january and add a right forward who is direct, has pace and can take a man on then we will be really strong. Maybe jones when fit? 👍.

Take Tav, Goldson out the team. Even though we've dropped more points and had less clean sheets with Katic in the side. 🤔

I would say Sundays starting 11 was not far off our best 11. The only ones who might be under threat at times would be Kent and Ojo due to the expected work rate of our wingers and they can also have off days.

The points that we have dropped have been caused between tav and poor tactics / team selection by gerrard. Tav at tynecastle and gerrards tactics / team selection at ibrox v celtic. Nothing to do with katic. Infact it was goldson error v celtic that caused the first goal. You are trying to make a point that doesn't exist I'm afraid. 👍.

We win and lose as a team and balance, understanding your partner and a bit of luck plays its part.

The result against hearts in the league wasn't just down to Tav. Yeah it was an awful attempt at a clearance and a bad mistake but we had plenty of opportunities to take something from the game.

Listen coldo you made an @ss of it the other day when you spoke about the need for continuity because we all know how much you rate Kent (I do too btw) and he hadn’t been playing. So we must play Kent but he hadn’t been playing before Sunday but you also wanted continuity? Make your mind up. Also great to see the fans giving Tav their backing (just like the manager asked) every time he went out to take a corner. Obviously coldo wasn’t sitting in any of these areas. Just remember all your cr@p about wanting rid of Morelos last season and how Defoe must play before him. That turned out well eh? Just back the team they can’t be superstars all the time. Tavs confidence is really low at the moment but it doesn’t help when the likes of you are always on his case.

Our 'worse' 4 defenders together - Tav, Barisic, Goldson, Helander - who plenty have criticized at some point this season, continue to rack up clean sheets together. 🤔👍😂

Defoe should have been playing before morelos last season. The way we played when morelos was suspended for 5 games proved that. Morelos is a completely different player this year. If morelos was still the same player as last year then defoe would be playing before him and we would not be expecting bids in excess of 20mil in january. 👍.

Goldson made a misplaced pass in the Celtic game, Katic let Edouard get away from him to score.
Katic loses out in his first aerial dual against Hearts, the Jambos score from the 2nd ball.

That's why Gerrard doesn't trust him 100% yet. He's still naive and unreliable even if people think Goldson is a bit shaky at times.
He is a more solid, reliable and dependable option than Katic right now.
