Wish we had a young Alex Rae in our squad. My man of the match in the legends game. Alan Hutton played well to for us. Stevie is definitely finished for those shouting about him pulling the boots on again. Still showed some class though. Makes me wonder if he has a slight regret of never playing for us?

No haha am sure he has zero regrets about not ever playing for us.

2.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 17:58:59
He 100% doesn't regret not playing for us, why would he and where would you get such an outrageous idea? 👍.

3.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 18:24:08
Why would he not regret maybe playing for a club he clearly has fell in love with. A club he had that much respect for he left Liverpool, albeit a junior roll. Crazy thinking from me lol.

A lot of fit players and great watching on you tube. A bit surprised Barry Ferguson wasn't up to it. He would have swung it.

12 Oct 2019 19:02:08
Quite glad Barry Ferguson never played as he doesn't come into the legend bracket, que the response.

6.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 19:17:32
Stuck that doesn't even merit a response mate 🤦‍♂️.

I'm glad you all agree.

Only the best Scottish midfielder ever to play for us imo.

10.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 21:51:09
He was a very good player but ruined it for me with his arrogance he thought he was Rangers and for me no one player is bigger than the club.

11.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 22:02:45
Aw well at least Charlie the legend was there! The stuck.

12.) 12 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 22:57:01
C, gerrard had no affection for us until he became our manager, why would he regret not playing for us, why would he have wanted to play for us? 👍.

13.) 13 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 23:31:47
Coldo, I'm sure Gerrard was a fan of Rangers before he came our gaffer.

14.) 13 Oct 2019
12 Oct 2019 23:48:28
Ok, maybe regret was a bit to strong but listen to his words after today's game. He said he missed being a player and dressing rooms. The chance to pull on the famous blue jersey in the iconic stadium. Is it that far a stretch of the imagination to think he would now maybe have liked to have done it for real?

15.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 09:27:31
Stuck, he is a diehard liverpool fan and never wanted to play for us at any point in his career nor does he regret not playing for us. The whole idea is absurd. 👍.

16.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 09:29:56
C, no. He would never have left liverpool for us, he wouldn't leave for real madrid. Your suggestion is absurd and pure fantasy👍.

17.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 10:17:50
barry ferguson is without any doubt a legend. Treble winning captain, captained us to a uefa cup final, captained us to titles. He won 5 titles, 5 league cups, 5 scottish cups, player of the year. 288 appearances and 44 goals. I wish we had a player of his calibre playing in midfield and as our captain today. 👍.

18.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 10:34:45
Maybe when you were googling Barry Ferguson on Wikipedia, you should have did the same for Steven (wouldn't leave for Real) Gerrard. Maybe then you would've realised he left Liverpool and went to LA Galaxy 👍.

19.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 11:27:37
Yes C the end of his career he went to LA galaxy to earn the kind of money that we could never pay him in 20 years. He was supposed to be moving to chelsea and real madrid during his career but couldn't bring himself to leave his beloved liverpool.

20.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 11:45:10
He left his beloved Liverpool to come and manage us.

21.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:00:16
He left his "beloved" Liverpool to gain managerial experience. His aim is to manage Liverpool at some point and he was never going to be promoted to manager from Liverpool under 18's - that's why, nothing to do with being a rangers fan or regretting not playing for us. As others have said, he wouldn't leave Liverpool for Chelsea, Real Madrid at the height of his career, so why would he leave for us?

22.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:01:04
Yes to come manage us from an u18 role. Your initial post was about regretting not playing for us, you are trying to twist it to suit your absurd, outrageous suggestion. You are just being silly now. If you think gerrard regrets not playing for us then you are delusional. 👍.

23.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:09:01
I can't believe that you thought you could use his money spinning move to LA at the end of his career or that he left liverpool youths to manage us as some sort of leverage in your fantasy theory that gerrard regrets not playing for us. That is pure comedy gold at its finest c. 👍.

24.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:31:44
The only people taking about the height of careers is you two. Caldo you just come on here to try and wind people up. When you started slaughtering our best and most valuable asset, your opinion became null and void is most eyes.

25.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:34:09
Btw I already said 'regret' was maybe the wrong word. Stick to Alfredo and other fan bashing. It's all you are good at these days. You are on a popularity par with Leon on these pages!

26.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 12:44:23
Alfredo deserved the critism he got, he has improved his game because he was on his last chance with gerrard👍. I don't wind people up, its not my fault you had to be corrected. Don't blame me for your mistakes👍.

27.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 13:45:31
You would had him sold for anything near 5 million lol we all loved to watch your back tracking. It will be deja vu when you are trying to justify the criticism of Ojo in a few months time!

28.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 15:10:21
Who would have sold him for 5mil? More BS from you C. I have not back tracked about morelos. I said he had to change his attitude - he did. I said he had to improve his link up play - he did. I said he had to improve on his awareness of playing in team mates instead of going it alone - he did. So C, infact, let's face it if morelos was the same morelos as last year then he wouldn't be in the team this year. So you'll find C that I was 100% correct about morelos, and you're wrong again because ojo won't prove me wrong unless he seriously up's his game. 👍.

29.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 15:19:29
Coldo, yes he is a die hard Liverpool man as you describe but it was said before he came to Rangers that he follows us. PS. Barry Ferguson is never a legend. LOL.

30.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 15:42:01
It was said? By who? And does that mean he would regret not playing for us? And yes ferguson is a legend👍.

31.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 16:05:47
Coldo, you don't half spout some mince. It's because he was the player he was that he's still in the team. Top goal scorer last year. If he wasn't quality, Stevie wouldn't have stood by him. If it's not Morelos, it's Ojo or Aribo or Barasic. Regular first team players who have all contributed to our current position. Bring back Candieas for Ojo because Walter Caldo says he's guff. Ojo needs to up his game because regular goals and assists with the odd screamer chucked in, just isn't cutting it by Coldos standard.

32.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 16:18:59
Coldo, he was quoted as saying he was a Rangers fan. I presume your relatively young if your classing Ferguson as a legend.

33.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 16:21:09
After the old firm game at celtic park gerrard said he could not defend him anymore, so even gerrard knew that his attitude was having a negative impact on the team. So C stop talking nonsense because you lost a debate about gerrard that was fantasy. And yes we should swap ojo for candieas. Barasic had to up his game and he has, we all knew he had to. And aribo needs to move the ball quicker, he was holding our play up. Lots of people have said after the last two 5-0 wins that our midfield was a lot more fluent in how we moved the ball. Simple observations are made by opening your eye's C👍.

34.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 17:30:10
Well we are doing not bad mate. Even with all the failings of the mentioned players. Players like Candieas can stay away. The time for losers is over!

35.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 18:07:35
To earlier posters. . ahhh Barry the crab . if sideways was an Olympic sport. he would be champ.

36.) 13 Oct 2019
13 Oct 2019 18:15:07
You are right c, losers can stay away. Morelos and barasic are two different players but fans were correct to point out their failings, as you said the time for losers are over. If fans settle for players failings then we are accepting the losers that you said can stay away. We are doing not bad but we have not won anything yet and we won't win anything with 10 men or half hearted players that don't give 100%. Its all about standards. I wish I was that young stuck but I was around during all of the 9iar and appreciate the type of great players that has been at our club. If you don't recognise ferguson as a legend for what he achieved at us then maybe you should call it a day. 👍.

Greatest scottish midfielder of a generation, dragged us through a lot of games by the scruff of the neck. Wee Barry is literally the epitome of the word legend.
