Bournemouth have signed harry Wilson on loan 2.5M fee he has more chance getting into the Liverpool squad then Kent does so why are Liverpool refusing to loan out Kent?

Because they think Wilson has a future at the club. Kent is now 22 and they’ve made a call on him, so trying to take in some money. Common sense.

Liverpool don't need the 10M for Kent f@ck they made 10x times that last season with CL money so why not sell for 6M or so get him off the books and still make a bit of money this hard ball stuff makes no sense its not like there Dundee or Celtic penny pinching for there players they won't miss Kent .

Jim, Liverpool run the club properly and like a business and do you expect them to sell Kent for peanuts?

Jim, the rich don’t get rich by giving hand outs. It’s the same for big clubs. And when folk say “oh well they should just do Stevie G a favour”, it doesn’t work like that. Football clubs are a business at the end of the day.

Jim, it’s called financial fair play. That’s why they want a big fee.

Thank god you don't run a Business Jim09

You are literally saying Liverpool should throw away £4M. I think their accounts department would have a few words to say.

The youth system and the associated sales and loans from the top clubs in England are a big percentage of the new Business model.

The big clubs regularly send out dozens youth players on loan to smaller clubs and can ask for £1m+ a season. Eventually they make a decision on these youth guys, Kent and Wilson are a great example, Wilson has proven in the championship which is harder league than the SPL, so let's send him out on loan at a higher level than he played last year, Ryan Kent is now obviously not going to cut it in the EPL, but they now they can get anything up to about £10m plus sell on fees for him. Regardless, they're constantly making money out their youth system. There's no way they'll just go. "Aye ok since its you Stevie G, we'll give you a 40% discount, mates rates"
