Just after reading that liverpool manager jurgen klopp has ruled out ryan kent going out on loan again, to any club. He says the reason is that ryan kent is now at an age where he has to settle and find a permanent home. I now admit my disappointment and know now that kent won't be back at rangers. We just can't afford the wee man. Looks very much like leeds utd will buy him on a permanent deal. I like coldo and others on here, was desparate to see him back with rangers this season. But we all knew it would have to be on loan, as we just can't afford to buy him permanently. I still wish the wee man all the very best in his career, wherever that is.
Really enjoyed watching him playing for us last season and thank him for the memories.
We just have to move on, but he would have made a difference to our starting 11,if we had managed to get him on loan again!

We uave player now of our own that can do a job. Wasn't too bothered if Kent didn't come back. Murphy and Jones can play the same role as Kent and there's arfeild if needed.

Huge blow if true. Its ok saying jones ojo murphy can play that role, which they can, but they are nowhere near as good as kent. 👍.

I have to agree Coldo Jones never really went by his man today and hardly took him on. Kent would really finish this team off perfectly. I'd love us to buy him and the outrage from the mhanks if we pay over £5m would make it worthwhile lol.

What rubbish. One man doesn't make a team. Kent will be a loss but our new signings should more than make up for that. If he was that good, why wasn't he a first choice in Liverpool's team?

Kent and Candias were good if not outstanding last year in some games. We now have Ojo, Murphy, Stewart, Hastie and Jones. I would have picked Kent and Candias above all 5. So IMO we have taken a step back when it comes to wingers at the moment. If we don't get Kent then we need to look elsewhere for a player that frightens teams and ties up 2 to 3 defenders. The Jury is still out on Ojo, Murphy I don't think will ever be back, Jones I like but will blow hot and cold and Stewart a squad player that will be useful now and again, Hastie maybe next season. i'm sure the management team are working hard behind the scenes to solve this. A target man and robust dependable hard working winger still required.

DOIGER - reason he ain't first choice at Liverpool is because there's the likes of sadio mane ahead of him. agreed coldo. Jordan jones and murphy aren't on same level as kent am sorry to say.

We have sadly gone for quantity over quality on the wings. Ojo looks decent but Jones and Stewart aren’t great and Hastie doesn’t look ready yet. With Grezda and Candeias away I would like to see one more experienced winger/ attacking player in. If we can keep Murphy fit then that will help.

Murphy will not make it back with us. We've moved on too much for him imho. Jones looks better than I thought as does Stewart, and ojo looks a typical young winger, a bit hot and cold.

I think we've lost a bit too tho losing Kent and candias. Just that different style/ quality that you need sometimes.
