He knows the club and the league. I would much rather they had went for a more glamorous appointment who would take time to settle. He is the cheap option though so maybe the biscuit tin mentality is coming back.

Defo the cheap option. There will be even more howling when the pressure goes on and the relief valve can't be found. And that's just Lemmon. Wait till it really kicks in with tgfitw. Seriously, the only things that will help him is the curruption that is the compliancd officer set up, the sfa and the fear from the officials being ripped to shreds if they don't give his team everything that's going. I haven't seen yesterday's highlights but by all accounts the "penalty" was a joy to behold, as was Collum's swiftnesd in pointing to the spot before the big diver even hit the ground. If we are good enough to overcome all of the above then we may have a chance. Remember to date we have had twice as many players cited than the next team whilst they have not had one, not even one.

Benitez was the bookies favourite for the c*ltic job. Mourniho, billic were mentioned as well. Lennon is not of the standard of the above mentioned. Neither is he some brilliant tactican.

To be fair NL is a good manager, but he is no brendan rodgers. Never have a better chance of stopping 9 in a row than now.

I'm delighted NL is at the helm. my 2 favourite things about yesterday was NL being interviewed and saying " its not about me" and Peter Lawless saying NL was the standout candidate and was always getting the job even celtic fans won't beleive that .
