Why do we persist in playing Halliday at left back when he is not a natural defender? We had Wallace on the bench (LB) and Flanangan (albeit natural RB) We are fragile especially when defending crosses and need outright defenders to clear the lines.

I felt the same yesterday but to be fair to Halliday I felt he did ok. However Saturday is going to be a lot different with Forrest playing. Gerrard really has no choice but to play Halliday as you can’t put Wallace in having played no part yesterday. Really concerned about what Forrest will do to Halliday.

Yeah he generally does ok however just concerned like
you about the step up in class, in which if chosen, he will be facing. Just feel its a case of plugging the gaps and we are paying the price.

I think he is a certainty to play left back on Saturday. Wallace needed to play yesterday to be in with a chance of playing Saturday and Flanagan hasn’t played for weeks.

Halliday better option than Flanagan and Wallace at present.

Agreed but due to the fact neither Flanagan or Wallace have played much and it’s not advisable to throw players like that into such a game.

Wallace has no future with rangers. We all know that also the 17 k a week can be better used for a striker.
