I do question Warburton's judgement and man-to-man management. Joe Barton was apparently Burnley's best player at the weekend against Chelsea and clearly he would have been an asset for Rangers on the pitch. The bust-up seems to have been handled very badly by Warburton. Had Barton stayed and Rossiter and Kranjcar stayed fit then maybe this morning's headlines would have been different. I see moron Sutton is spouting off in the DR again today. Remind me to stop reading that dreadful rag.

This is nothing to do with the manager its the system! Here he was expected to be mobile and cover ground which he failed badly at. At Burnley he's playing in a rigid and defensive formation where he has far more protection!

Getting rid off Barton was a really bad move on my opinion I would love to find out what was said tho

RFC, what do you mean it's not about the manager, it's the system?

Surely you're not suggesting the someone imposed the system on the manager?

RFC Infinity: Agree, Barton looked lost in our midfield, had to take on too much.

Barton is not good enough. He is a very poor man's Scott Brown. Did you watch the game against Chelsea? Did nothing bar run around and tackle. He is a disgusting human being who should never have been signed.

A poor mans scott brown that's a cracker scott brown has never tested himself down in england because he knows he's not good enough barton has been at some big clubs and down to attitude not ability has cost him his place at these clubs what does brown do apart from run about tackling like barton as u claimed what makes him better a couple of stares at rangers players to pull the wool over the eyes of c****c fans and pure thuggish behaviour

Stu is blue

Halliday does more than just run around. He gives the ball away and causes goals too.
